This DDR4 memory kit is one such option, and it is one of their finest products to date, in my opinion. It’s one of the most powerful memory modules on the market, and it’s also quite affordable.

You’ll enjoy it in terms of design. It has a nice finish and a great execution. The heat spreaders are well-polished and perform an excellent job of removing heat. They are constructed of aluminum and are very thick.

Let me now tell you about the finest part.

This model is a good option for someone looking for a quicker memory kit.

I’m surprised that this RAM isn’t more widely discussed among gamers. I believe it is deserving of a lot more attention.

It is very dependable as a DDR4 RAM. This memory should be one of your top considerations, especially if you are a performance fanatic.

It’s quick and reliable. During my tests, I discovered that the speed did not significantly decrease. There’s also a great mix of speed and steadiness.

However, since this RAM kit is performance-oriented, you may find it a little boring in terms of looks.

Overall, I think it’s an excellent gaming RAM with a nice set of functions. For a quicker gaming experience, don’t forget to check out some of the finest 3200 MHz RAMs.

As a gamer, you may heavily depend on this kind of RAM. It’s one of the few gaming RAM choices that has a simple appearance while yet providing high-end performance.

Aesthetics, in my view, has nothing to do with performance. However, a small number of gamers disagree. That is why I included this DDR4 memory kit in order to burst their bubble.

First, let me talk about the design.

This Patriot model has a gunmetal finish. Styling is done in an aggressive manner, which looks great. The modules seem to be polished, and I’m sure you’ll like them if you appreciate smooth and beautiful. Are you planning to construct a gaming PC using just AMD 3rd generation components? The RGB lighting is now the only thing lacking from the overall looks. This may be a deal breaker for RGB aficionados. But, hey, that’s not why you’re getting this RAM in the first place.

The most important factor is performance, and this gaming memory excels in this regard. This was tested on my setup, and there was no latency at all. Instead, the modules were rock-solid, ensuring excellent gaming performance.

To sum it up:

Although this RAM does not contain LEDs, the performance it provides is comparable to that of most high-end RGB modules.

5. Ballistix MAX RGB (Critical Ballistix)

The RGB version of the Crucial Ballistix MAX is shown here. It is a high-end memory kit that can provide a steady gaming environment.

The following characteristics are associated with this memory:

  • 32 GB of storage
  • 19-day CAS Latency
  • RGB 8-zone
  • Form factor with a low profile

This is the second memory kit from the Crucial Ballistix series on my list. And, to tell you the truth, it’s amazing.

The most exciting aspect is:

This is another low-profile RAM that made it into my list. As a result, if you already have any large components in your setup, you won’t have any problems. In terms of clearance, there will be no issues.

Now that you’ve seen this RAM, you’ll agree that it’s fantastic. Because it was created with gamers like you in mind.

It was fantastic. There’s nothing showy about it, but who needs that? The matte black finish is gorgeous. Check out our experts’ top RAM choices for Ryzen 5 5600x and Ryzen 9 5950x.

Furthermore, the heat spreaders are constructed of aluminum. There are no plastic components on it, ensuring top-notch heat dissipation performance.

This memory kit’s RGB illumination is very nice. There are 16 LEDs in each module, which are split into eight zones. These eight zones, in my view, are very bright.

In terms of performance, this RAM has a lot of space for overclocking. During testing, I soon hit 4800 MHz. A few gamers also told me that they were able to overclock their processors to about 5100 MHz.

This is serious stuff… Isn’t that so?

The issue with this RAM, though, is its cost. It’s on the expensive side, which many gamers may not be able to afford.

Aside from that, if money isn’t an issue for you, I recommend going for it. Also, see what RAM is compatible with the Ryzen 7 5800x.

The Patriot Viper 4 Blackout Series is number six in the Patriot Viper series.

If you like all-black designs and want to create an all-black gaming system, Patriot RAM might be a good choice.

The following are the specifications for this model:

  • 16 GB of storage
  • Heat spreaders made of aluminum
  • Low-profile

patriot-viper-4-blackout-seriesCheck out the current price of the Patriot Viper 4 Blackout Series.

On my list, this is one of the most basic-looking Rams. However, this does not detract from its overall performance.

Other than its appearance, I think RAM has a lot to give. And this RAM represents my conviction.

All of the black scheming on these modules looks fantastic. It’s not showy, but it’s adequate.

Unfortunately, this memory kit lacks an RGB component. I’d like to see some bright LED lights within the structure. Patriot, on the other hand, had different ideas.

In terms of performance, I found this DDR4 gaming memory to be adequate. It didn’t win all of the tests, but it performed well enough.

The most exciting aspect is:

This RAM is fairly priced. As a result, there will be no cost to you.

Toughram RC from Thermaltake

Thermaltake’s gaming RAM is the last item on the list. They’ve been making some good memory kits for a long now. As a result, I decided to include this model.

The following are the specifications for this model:

  • 16 GB of storage
  • 19-day CAS Latency
  • Guaranteed for life

thermaltake-toughram-rc-ddr4Check the current price of the Thermaltake Toughram RC.

Thermaltake’s model is significantly underappreciated. I mean, virtually no one seems to suggest it. It should, however, be promoted.

Gamers should not pass up the chance to upgrade their gaming setup with such a fantastic memory.

The heat spreaders on the modules are beautifully polished metal. They have a sleek and elegant appearance. Furthermore, the ICs utilized in the modules are of the highest grade. Its primary purpose is to keep your RAM stable even if you overclock it.

When it comes to overclocking, the amount of output you receive from it is pretty good, if not the best. And, since it’s XMP-enabled, you may tune it to high speeds without danger.

Overall, this RAM is one of the most acceptable choices for a mid-ranged RAM in my opinion.

Last Thoughts

I’ve completed my review. The following are the seven finest 4800 MHz gaming memory kits. There is something for everyone among them. So there’s no reason to go elsewhere.

The chart above shows the tested RAM speeds of the RAM kits used in our previous guides, as well as some other faster RAM kits. We recommend any DDR4 RAM kit with a clock that is at least 300 MHz faster than your current RAM kit. Also, if your motherboard supports XMP profiles, make sure to use those profiles when overclocking your RAM. The main reason you want faster RAM is because you get better performance, and don’t need to worry about voltage when you’re running RAM faster than the CPU. Having faster RAM will also help if you are running multiple instances of the same program on your computer.. Read more about best ddr4 ram for gaming and let us know what you think.
