Razer’s newest and most sophisticated gaming mouse raises the bar significantly. The Viper Ultimate is a gaming mouse that contains everything you could desire or need.

Despite its light weight of just 74g, the mouse has excellent build quality and feels extremely sturdy from the start. This mouse will satisfy most gamers, particularly if you prefer to spend countless hours gaming on your PC, thanks to its ultra-lightweight, ambidextrous construction coupled with a great form, suitable for both claw and palm grip.

The Viper Ultimate has a top-tier design, and things become even better when we consider its in-game performance. When compared to the non-ultimate (wired) version, Razer enhanced the mouse feet by making them entirely of the highest-grade PTFE (the same substance used to coat non-stick pans), allowing the mouse to glide over most surfaces with ease.

But the greatest feature, which distinguishes this mouse from the competition and propels it to the top of our list, is the new Focus+ sensor, which provides 20.000 DPI, 99.6% resolution accuracy, and a slew of sophisticated features to provide industry-leading precision and performance.

The Viper Ultimate also has Razer Hyperspeed Wireless, which is a fantastic wireless technology. This technology enables it to outperform any wired mouse, breaking the barrier between wired and wireless mice even farther than the Logitech G Pro – 2019’s finest wireless mouse.

It’s essential to note that the Viper’s technology isn’t the only thing that makes it a great gaming mouse. It’s the entire combination of form, size, weight, button sound, and quality, all of which have been meticulously considered and perfected. This is without a doubt the finest gaming mouse we’ve ever used.

The Razer Viper Ultimate also has the following features:

  • Razer Optical Mouse Switch — Rather than using conventional mechanical buttons, the Viper Ultimate uses an infrared light beam to eliminate the requirement for physical touch and debounce delay, making mouse clicking even more responsive and precise than before.
  • 8 Programmable Buttons — With Razer Synapse 3, which allows you to quickly set up all sorts of macros on your mouse, you may have up to 8 completely programmable and adjustable buttons.
  • Razer Mouse Dock – The Razer charging dock allows you to charge your mouse quickly while also allowing you to sync it with other Razer components. It also looks great on the table and grips the mouse nicely.

2. Logitech G903 Hero

If you like heavier mice and are searching for a high-end wireless mouse, the Logitech G903 should be your first choice. First and foremost, if you believed the battery life was a mistake, you were mistaken. This mouse can last up to 180 hours on a full charge, which is insane. If you use the mouse continuously for a week, that’s more than a week. So, depending on how much you use your computer on a daily basis, it will probably last you a month or so in real life.

If you have an issue with the battery, you can simply plug it in using the USB connection and continue to use your mouse while it charges.

Despite its lightweight construction, the Logitech G903 is very robust, so dropping your mouse off the table or smashing it after one of your friends loses you a game should have no effect on its functioning. But don’t take our word for it; try it for yourself.

However, a long-lasting mouse with a long battery life is useless if it does not function properly. On that point, we’re pleased to announce that the G903 performs well. The G903 Hero provides amazing precision and accuracy that will please even the most demanding gamers, thanks to Logitech’s newest HERO 16k sensor and lightspeed wireless technology – little surprise this mouse was an obvious pick for a number of eSport players.

The only flaw we saw was the lack of grip. We didn’t have any problems with it, but it’s something to keep in mind if you like rubber sides.

Overall, the G903 Hero is a fantastic gaming mouse, with a luxury design, an infinite battery life, and extremely accurate and precise mousing. You will like what this mouse can accomplish for you if you are willing to pay a premium.

The Logitech G903 Lightspeed Hero also has the following features:

  • Up to 11 Buttons + Ambidextrous Design — You can simply adapt your mouse to left or right-handed usage and select from 7 to 11 programmable buttons with the adjustable button arrangement. Logitech G-HUB software may be used for additional customization.
  • Mechanical Button Technology – The main left and right buttons include a metal spring that allows for easier triggering, making them seem extremely quick and responsive.
  • LIGHTSYNC RGB – Customize your mouse with a variety of RGB lighting effects and synchronize it with other G gear using this feature. Logitech’s website makes it simple to get this software.

If you pay attention to eSports, you may have already seen the Logitech G Pro gaming mouse in action. This mouse has been used by several professional players over the last year, and some of them even helped design it. That may be one of the reasons behind the mouse’s popularity.

However, it is clearly not the only reason why many gamers continue to purchase to this day. It also offers exceptional accuracy, responsiveness, and overall performance, all of which are critical for competitive gaming.

The Logitech G Pro, like the G903, features a HERO 16k sensor that ensures precise and accurate mousing. It lags behind Razer’s Focus+ sensor by a hair, but the difference is so little that it’s hardly worth mentioning.

If you’re on the fence about whether to choose the Logitech G Pro or the newer Razer Viper Ultimate, the only change worth noting is the optical mouse switches, form, and texture.

We preferred the Viper because of the side grips, which make it easier to maneuver. Also, the form, which is not as hefty as the G Pro, is a plus. However, we recognize that this is a personal preference, and if you prefer a palm grip over a rubber grip, the G Pro may be a better choice for you.

The G Pro was, without a doubt, the finest gaming mouse of the year. Mostly because of its form, which has attracted admirers from all around the world. If you enjoy the notion of playing with a mouse that was created by professional gamers and is still utilized on a professional level owing to its performance and quality, the G Pro is certainly worth investigating further.

The Logitech G Pro also has the following features:

  • 4—8 Programmable Buttons – With detachable left and right side buttons, you may customize the number of side buttons on your mouse, ranging from none to four. Then, using the Logitech G HUB, you can simply customize your buttons.
  • Mechanical Button Technology – The main left and right buttons include a metal spring that enables for faster and more responsive triggering with less effort.
  • LIGHTSYNC RGB – Lightsync RGB is a mouse lighting effects customization program that you can simply get from the Logitech website. It can also be synced with other G gear.
  • Enduring Performance – The Logitech G Pro has been developed and tested to endure severe circumstances in order to ensure that it can continue to provide high-quality service for a long time. Logitech says that the feet have been tested for over 250 kilometers of usage, and that the main left and right buttons have received over 50 million clicks, which is equal to five years of training.

4. SteelSeries Rival 650

Weight: 121g | Battery Life: Up to 24+ hours | Buttons: 7 | Dimensions (L x W x H): 131mm x 62mm x 43mm | RGB: Yes

REASONS TO PURCHASE

  • Sensory Excellence
  • Incredibly comfortable to hold
  • Grip is plentiful.
  • Design is fantastic.
  • Extremely long lasting

REASONS TO STAY AWAY

  • Heavier
  • Battery life is limited to just 24 hours.

With its TrueMove3+ sensor, the SteelSeries Rival 650 is another another wireless gaming mouse that can compete with the finest wired mice. The TrueMove3+ sensor is similar to the original TrueMove3 sensor used in prior steelseries mice, but the plus version has a specialized lift off sensor to improve lift off distance.

While the sensor is excellent, offering excellent in-game performance such as flawless tracking and responsiveness without any acceleration or jitter, there are a few aspects of the Rival 650 that we didn’t care for and that you should be aware of.

To begin, consider the mouse’s weight and the idea of adding up to eight 4g weights. Don’t get me wrong: I’m not saying 121 grams is excessive; some people like heavier mice; but, the fact that they manufacture a heavier mouse with the option to make it even heavier irritates me. Why not create a lighter, 90-gram mouse instead, so you can keep it light or add some additional weight to give it a heavier feel?

Another aspect that we believe might be improved is the battery life. 24 hours isn’t terrible at all, particularly if you just play at home and don’t go to LAN parties or other events. However, when compared to comparable gaming mouse, such as the G903, which has a battery life of 180 hours, we’d want to see more. However, if your mouse’s battery runs out, 15 minutes of charging should provide you with 10+ hours of gaming, which is a nice bonus.

Having saying that, the Rival 650 has a lot to offer. It has one of the finest, if not the best, designs of all the mice on this list, in our view. It also provides excellent performance and is ergonomically designed for extended gaming sessions. The amount of grip ensures that the mouse does not slide from your grasp.

The SteelSeries Rival 650 also has the following features:

  • Dedicated Secondary Depth Sensor – Thanks to the dedicated secondary depth sensor, this mouse can achieve the shortest and most precise lift off distance, ensuring that you don’t waste time raising and putting down your mouse.
  • Quantum Wireless by SteelSeries — Quantum Wireless is one of the finest wireless technologies on the market, with 1000Hz and 1 ms latency for extremely responsive, lag-free mousing.
  • 8 Distinct RGB Zones — The SteelSeries Engine Software allows you to completely configure and personalize your mouse with eight independent RGB zones.

The Razer Deathadder Elite is one of the most popular gaming mice ever manufactured, if not the most popular. Its exquisite shape, revolutionary performance, and iconic design drew admirers from all corners of the gaming world. The Deathadder has so far been released in 26 different variants, with over 10 million pieces sold globally, demonstrating its enormous appeal.

To be honest, it isn’t the most recent, lightest, or sophisticated gaming mouse on the market. In reality, it’s the polar opposite. In 2006, the first deathadder was released, making it a 14-year-old mouse. But don’t worry, Razer has kept it up to date, and if you purchase one today, it will come with an esports-grade 16.000 DPI optical sensor and Razer’s newest Omron mechanical gaming switches, allowing you to play with the highest level of precision and speed possible.

The Deathadder Elite is a big mouse that can be gripped with either your claws or your palms, and its distinctive form ensures optimum comfort even during extended gaming sessions. It also provides optimum control when paired with two rubber side grips.

I’ve used several versions of the Deathadder gaming mouse, and it’s still my go-to gaming mouse after all these years. It is very comfortable for both intensive gaming and casual usage, and I haven’t had any problems with it that necessitated returning it for warranty.

The only little problem I had was with the side rubber grips, where the inner grip (the one on your thumb) came off after a lengthy period of usage (approximately 2 years) and I had to glue it back on. Apart from that, I can’t think of anything negative to say about it.

The greatest part is that it is now available on Amazon for the lowest price ever.

The Razer Deathadder Elite also has the following features:

  • 2 Year Warranty — When you buy the Deathadder Elite, you receive a normal 2-year warranty. If you purchase it straight from RazerStore, you’ll receive a 14-day money-back guarantee.
  • Razer Chroma Lighting — The Razer logo on top of the mouse, as well as the scroll wheel, include Razer Chroma Lighting (RGB) that can be completely customized with the Razer Synapse 3 software.
  • Various Editions are Currently Available – You may choose from a variety of designs to demonstrate your enthusiasm for or support for particular games or eSport teams. Overwatch, Call Of Duty Black Ops 3, SKT T1, and Destiny 2 are all available on Amazon right now.

6. Acer Predator Cestus 510

REASONS TO PURCHASE

  • Excellent Workmanship
  • Design that is both durable and appealing
  • Customization is limitless.
  • RGB (RGB) Lighting
  • Grip is excellent, and it will not slip in your hand.
  • Glide to Perfection

The Acer Predator is a medium-sized gaming mouse that will certainly grab your attention at first sight. This mouse is similar to a supercar in that it is quick, beautiful, and offers all you need and more. However, it is not the most comfy of the group, and daily commutes to work may be rough at times.

The flexibility and limitless customization of this mouse is one of the features we loved the most. It comes with two top covers, one of which is slightly taller than the other, so you can choose which one feels best in your palm and suits your grip better. It also features a detachable right side panel and various weights, making it simpler to reach the sweet spot for your gaming style. Finding the perfect fit may take some time, but we thought it was really cool and simple to accomplish.

Another interesting feature is the dual mechanical omron switches, which allow you to change the click force by sliding the levers at the bottom of the mouse. Although the difference isn’t significant, we preferred the one with less force. Also, keep in mind that Acer promises a 50 million-click lifetime for the main left button but only 20 million for the right, which may contribute to a faster-wearing right button, particularly if you play right-click-heavy games like League of Legends.

In terms of gaming performance, the Cestus 510 is among the best in its class. Because the mouse is so fast and sensitive, you won’t have any trouble hitting the game-winning headshot. We didn’t detect any jitter or acceleration, which are typical problems with certain mouse and may negatively affect your gaming, particularly if you play competitive games.

It’s also worth mentioning that after you’ve gotten the Cestus to suit your palm and grip just right, it nearly feels like it’s glued to your hand, which is especially helpful if you play FPS games where quick and precise shooting is key.

The Acer Predator Cestus also has the following features:

  • Quartermaster Program – The Quartermaster software is simple to use and allows you to modify illumination, button assignments, and other essential settings, all of which may be stored on the mouse’s memory.
  • Durability – When using a wired mouse, you run the risk of damaging the cord or the USB connection. Your mouse will endure a long time thanks to the braided cable and gold-plated USB connection.
  • RGB (RGB) Lighting — Using 16.8M RGB color choices and eight distinct lighting patterns, the whole mouse can be completely customized to your taste using the Quartermaster program.

7. Cooler Master MM710

DPI: 16.000 | Interface: USB | Weight: 53g | Battery Life: N/A | Buttons: 6 | Dimensions (L x W x H): 117mm x 63mm x 38mm | RGB: No | Dimensions (L x W x H): 117mm x 63mm x 38mm

REASONS TO PURCHASE

  • Super Lightweight and Comfy
  • Outstanding performance
  • Four Different Colors
  • Cheap
  • Cable that is both light and flexible

REASONS TO STAY AWAY

  • No RGB
  • Design that is uninteresting
  • Susceptible to Harm

Our score is 9.0 out of ten.

Visit Amazon for more information.

If you’re looking for a low-cost, ultra-lightweight gaming mouse, the Cooler Master MM 710 is a good option. This mouse weighs less than 53g thanks to its honeycomb shell design and extremely light and flexible wire, making it one of the lightest gaming mice presently available.

It’s available in four color options: matte black, glossy black, matte white, and glossy white, allowing you the freedom to choose the one that best suits your needs. Matte variants have a little more roughness and therefore a better grip than glossy versions, but they aren’t as shiny. The glossy ones, on the other hand, let you to see your fingerprints, which may be bothersome to some. As a result, it all boils down to personal taste.

In terms of in-game performance, the MM710 features a top optical sensor – the PixArt PMW3389, to be precise – that is on par with other high-end sensors and works well. You’ll get maximum precision, flawless tracking, and no lag or stuttering when you pair it with well-known Omron switches and an ultraweave braided cable.

To be honest, this is a pretty well-designed gaming mouse, yet it is still far from ideal. It doesn’t have RGB and doesn’t look nice. Another issue to mention is the durability, which you may already know isn’t great, and with the holes design, you’ll have to be extra careful with it – pouring coffee on your mouse is an instant death sentence.

After all of this, the Cooler Master MM710 is a great choice for someone searching for a super-light, ergonomic gaming mouse at a cheap price. It takes a little getting used to, particularly if you’re accustomed to heavier mice, but once you do, this mouse feels fantastic in your hands and allows you to take your gaming to the next level.

The Cooler Master MM710 also has the following features:

  • Dust and Water Resistant Coating – The PCBA was coated with a dust and water-resistant coating due to its perforated design to avoid any harm from accidental spillage or dust settling. However, since the encoder and switches cannot be coated for performance reasons, you must still take excellent care of your mouse.
  • PTFE Mouse Feet — The mouse feet of the MM710 are made of 95 percent PTFE, which is the finest material for gaming mice feet presently available. Although they are renowned to last a long time, you are nevertheless given an additional pair in the box just in case.

If you like the look of the MM710 but want RGB lighting, you can get the Cooler Master MM711 – it’s the same mouse as the MM710, but it includes RGB lighting, weighs approximately 7 grams more, and costs an additional ten dollars.

Our score is 9.3 out of ten.

Visit Amazon for more information.

The Razer Naga Trinity was created with a focus on comfort, performance, and most importantly, flexibility in order to be used in a variety of games. In reality, this mouse’s main feature is its adaptability. There are three replaceable side panels on this mouse, allowing you to select between 2, 7, and 12 button configurations. The panels may be swapped in a matter of seconds, and it’s a really simple and quick process. Before you load another game, you’ll be done.

The first side panel includes two rubber-grip buttons, making it ideal for FPS games where one or two side buttons are sufficient for rapid melee or reloading. The second panel features seven circular buttons with a rubber grip in the center where your thumb may rest. The third panel includes 12 buttons, which may be used in RPG and MMORPG games where a large number of macros are required to cast different spells and other actions.

You can store your settings using the Synapse 3 program, so you don’t have to go through the process of setting up each panel’s buttons every time you switch. Simply install a new panel and begin gaming.

Despite its hefty appearance, the Razer Naga Trinity is very pleasant to hold. It will most likely take you a day or two to adjust, but once you do, you will be on your way to a pleasant ride. For a smooth glide, the mouse also has high-quality PTFE mouse feet.

The 5G optical sensor included within the mouse guarantees top-level in-game performance for flawless accuracy and quickness.

I strongly suggest this gaming mouse if you’re seeking for a comfortable, high-performing, and extremely adaptable gaming mouse that will help you play at your best in every game. It also comes at a reasonable price.

The Razer Naga Trinity also has the following features:

  • Braided Cable Is Extremely Light And Flexible — Razer’s braided cable is super light and flexible, allowing for smooth mousing and a near-wireless sensation.
  • Razer Chroma Lighting — The Razer logo on top of the mouse, as well as the scroll wheel, include Razer Chroma Lighting (RGB) that can be completely customized with the Razer Synapse 3 software.

REASONS TO STAY AWAY

  • Not Everyone Is In Shape

Our score is 9.1 out of ten.

Visit Amazon for more information.

The Roccat Kain AIMO 122 is a mid-sized gaming mouse that, due to its design, should suit nearly any hand size. It features excellent angles and curves, so you can use it comfortably no matter which grip you choose — we found a palm grip to be the most comfortable.

Roccat claims to have spent two years perfecting this mouse, paying close attention to every detail. To be honest, following our initial experience with the Kain, we have to acknowledge they did a decent job and give them credit. The mouse’s surface is extremely smooth with some roughness, but it still has a decent grip and a great, quality feel to it.

The main buttons are our favorite feature of the Kain. They have minor comfort curves, need exactly the perfect amount of effort to push, and provide one of the finest sounds we’ve heard in a long time. The side buttons and scroll wheel are likewise of good quality, with a short travel distance and a pleasant sound, making this mouse a joy to use.

The Kain has a great in-game performance because to its top optical sensor (PixArt PMW3381). It will help you improve your aim and tracking, as well as take your game to the next level. The mouse feet are likewise excellent, allowing for a smooth glide on any flat surface.

The cable, for example, is something we believe should be improved. It’s not terrible, but there are better alternatives on the market right now that make you forget you’re using a wired mouse – which isn’t the case here. It does, however, function nicely with a bungee, so if you have one, the cable will not be a problem.

Overall, the Kain is a high-quality gaming mouse that will serve you well for a long time if you choose it. It’s comfy, works well, and looks great, particularly in white. It’s also reasonably priced, considerably less expensive than comparable high-end mouse.

Roccat spent a lot of time and attention into this, and we are confident in saying it was well worth it.

As is customary, we attempt to find the greatest budget choice for casual gamers who aren’t seeking for the best of the best, but rather something less expensive that will still do a decent job and won’t break the bank. So let’s take a closer look as the Logitech G203 Prodigy, a gaming mouse that fulfills all of the requirements and, in our view, offers the greatest value for money.

The G203 Prodigy is a more compact mouse with a simple design. The top of the plastic is smooth, while the sides have a little roughness for greater grip. It’s ideal for tiny hands, but it’ll work for larger hands as well, particularly if you use a fingertip grip. We do not suggest this mouse to anybody who has big hands; it is just too uncomfortable. Overall, the mouse is comfortable, has a nice form, and is well-made — no rattles or squeaks.

The performance is adequate; we had no problems aiming or tracking, but there are better sensors available, and if you’ve used any high-end mouse, you’ll notice the difference. However, I would suggest this mouse to a casual player any day of the week. However, if you’re trying to discover your gaming performance cap, this isn’t the greatest choice.

The sound of the buttons and the cable were two things we didn’t care for. The buttons are mechanical and rated for 10 million clicks, so they should last a long time, but the sound they produce isn’t very pleasant, and they’re arguably the worst mouse on the list. The cable is the same way. It’s not terrible, but we’d like it to be a little more adaptable.

Overall, it is a fantastic value for the money. If you’re on a tight budget but still want a good gaming mouse, the G203 Prodigy is an excellent choice. It isn’t the most beautiful or powerful device, but it is well-made, performs a good job in most situations, and won’t break the bank.

The Logitech G203 Prodigy also has the following features:

  • Lightsync RGB – Customize your mouse with a variety of RGB lighting effects and synchronize it with other G gear with Lightsync RGB. Logitech’s website makes it simple to get this software.
  • Onboard Memory — The onboard memory allows you to store your personalized settings through Logitech G HUB, so you don’t have to install software or reprogram your mouse if you use it on another PC or laptop.

That is all there is to it. Our top 10 gaming mouse for 2020 are listed below. If you still haven’t found the right match for you and want to explore elsewhere, we’ve put up a quick guide to help you choose the best gaming mouse for you. To Find The Best Mouse, Analyze Your Grip Style.

When looking for a gaming mouse, the first step is to decide on three key factors: form, size, and weight. We realize that saying it is easier than doing it, but there are some basic guidelines to follow.

When you evaluate your grip style, it becomes simpler to choose the appropriate form, size, and weight. There are three basic grip types that may assist you decide on the shape and size of your mouse.

  • 1629678961_576_Best-Gaming-Mice-2020-%E2%80%93-Ultimate-Top-10-List-ForPalm Grip – Out of the three grip styles, palm grip is the most popular since it is the most comfortable. During a lengthy gaming session, you may rest your hand on the mouse and keep it nice and relaxed. If you’re using a palm grip, seek for mice that have a steeper arch and a broader body. For a palm grip, they provide the finest and most comfortable mousing.
  • 1629678962_646_Best-Gaming-Mice-2020-%E2%80%93-Ultimate-Top-10-List-ForClaw Grip — This is a less common grip than the palm grip, although it is still popular among competitive players. It is less comfortable than palm grip, but it allows for more accurate and controlled shooting. Claw holding your mouse necessitates arching up your palm with fewer points of contact with your mouse, resulting in a claw-like shape. As a result, you should search for mice that are in the center of the size range, with less arch on top and appropriate side angles to allow you to grasp the mouse correctly.
  • 1629678962_633_Best-Gaming-Mice-2020-%E2%80%93-Ultimate-Top-10-List-ForFingertip Grip – Of the three grip styles, the fingertip grip is the least frequent and most severe. The mouse is moved only with the fingers, as the name implies, without resting your hand on the mouse. Look for smaller, lighter mouse with a flat shape and excellent side angles if you find yourself adopting this grip. Those mice will assist you in achieving the finest outcomes while also reducing hand fatigue.
