Although there are multiple side mission quests in the DLC, this guide is going to focus on the one that focuses on the main quest; McSmugger. The most famous spot for the mission is located near the Westernsaw in the middle of the map. You will need to head that way to confront him and get the quest.

The Legend Of McSmugger is a side mission in Borderlands 3 that you can unlock by playing through the main story. Here’s a walkthrough of the quest, including boss strategies, location of the collectibles, and a few tips for completing this quest.

Borderlands 3: Bounty of Blood is an Adventure DLC pack for Borderlands 2, and it’s available FREE as part of the Season Pass for the game! The DLC is free, but you can choose to buy it for $9.99 USD or you can download it as a free standalone game for everyone!

Super chef Jen Nickle has created these 8 incredible and exotic ice cream recipes. They are healthy enough to eat all the time, even if you want to stay slim. They are also easy to prepare.

This is one of the things I love about PN:

We are a nutrition coaching company, but we also love food.

At a recent meeting, one of our new NP team members said he would like to make ice cream.

She is in fact participating in our coaching program (as are many PN team members each year) and her coach sent her a link to my original recipes.

As an ice cream lover, she was elated.

For the record, I already published a post about healthy ice cream in 2010. I have searched for years for the perfect protein shake.

After destroying several blenders, I discovered the VitaMix – a machine powerful enough to grind complex ingredients like ice cream, peanut butter and cocoa nuts at the same time.

Quite by accident, Ice Cream was born.

Ice cream, part II

Re-reading this post from five years ago got me thinking. The NP has changed a lot since then.

We’ve helped thousands of customers get slim and healthy, and to keep up with demand, our team has grown to 100 people including world-class super chef Jen Nickle.

So why not challenge them and come up with something even better.

Chef Jen has never shied away from adversity.

It promised exotic, incredibly delicious ice cream recipes with healthy, wholesome ingredients and a fraction of the calories in traditional ice cream.

And three days later, she gave birth to a child. ….

As you can see, they are very successful.

Plus, they’re easy to make – three simple steps (or less) for each – and can even be done with your blender, food processor, or other type of de-stressing device.

They’re very nice too.

How to make ice cream

Start by choosing one of the 8 ice cream flavors below.

Then follow the instructions for making the ice cream batter.

Here is the process for the dark chocolate with hazelnuts recipe:

Prepare the basic ingredients.

Put them in a food processor or blender.

Mix everything together.

This is what it looks like before you add the yogurt.

After adding the yogurt, you get an ice cream batter.

Now it’s time to freeze. Here you have two options:

Muffin tins
Divide the batter ½ cup at a time among the muffin tins and freeze overnight. Then put as many servings of the pot into the blender as you like. (You can add unsweetened almond milk if you want a softer texture, but it’s not necessary).
Bread tin
Pour into a bread tin and freeze. When you’re ready to eat it, take it out and let it soften for 20 minutes before serving. This is a great option if you want to serve everything at once.

Once frozen, the ice looks like this:

Some final notes.

* Lactose intolerance (like me)? You can replace the chocolate milk with unsweetened chocolate almond milk. Replace the yogurt with unsweetened almond milk.

** Would you like to reduce the fat and calorie content of a particular recipe? While a moderate amount of fat per day is not a problem, you can replace regular coconut milk with the same amount of low-fat coconut milk or unsweetened almond milk. But lard is not only delicious, it’s also creamy and velvety. So the low-fat versions are less creamy and more icy.

*** If you don’t know what semolina or saffron threads are – or if you don’t consider yourself a great cook – start with the simplest recipe to build your confidence.

So if you are an ice cream lover, you should try some of these recipes. Soon you will be making delicious, exotic ice cream that will delight your taste buds and impress your friends.
