Not too long ago we gave you a heads up about the new Battlefield 1 DLC Bundle that was going to be given out for free. Well, we were right, and it’s already been given out to everyone who owns either of the games on the Origin store. So, what is the DLC Bundle?

To celebrate the launch of Battlefield 1 and the upcoming release of Battlefield 4: Ultimate Edition, EA is providing the Ultimate-edition owners with access to two free DLCs, which are part of the Battlefield 1 Premium Membership. There’s also a third DLC, which is included in the Battlefield 4 Premium Membership.

Free DLC is something that has been a major issue with gamers for years. If you are one of the many people who have been waiting for the day to come when you could download DLC for free, you will be glad to know that today is the day. Right now, Battlefield 4 and Battlefield 1 are each giving away free DLC. Both games have already been around a while, but the DLC has been free, with no strings attached. DICE is giving out free Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 4 downloadable content. We recommend that you get your hands on them before you lose out on any free maps.

Apocalypse, which includes the maps Somme, Caporetto, and Passchendaele, is available to Battlefield 1 gamers. This is a fun addition that also contains the Air Assault game mode, which focuses mostly on aircraft action.

Naval Strike and China Rising are two DLC additions for Battlefield 4 gamers. Naval Strike includes the maps Lost Islands, Nansha Strike, Wave Breaker, and Operation Mortar, as well as the game mode Carrier Assault, which allows players to “re-live the iconic Titan Mode of Battlefield 2142.” Silk Road, Altai Range, Guilin Peaks, and Dragon Pass maps have been added to China Rising.

Free material is always appealing, and a sizable number of people are still playing Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 4 on their respective platforms. To begin the download, click the links below, or go to your respective shops when you get a chance.

Battlefield 1: Apocalypse is available on PC (Origin), PS4, and Xbox One.

Battlefield 4: Naval Strike is available on PC (Origin), PS4, and Xbox One.

Battlefield 4: China Rising is available on PC (Origin), PS4, and Xbox One.

This isn’t the first time EA and DICE have offered the Battlefield community free material. Battlefield 1: Turning Tides and Battlefield 4: Second Assault were both available for free for a short period last month. It’s fair to assume that this is EA and DICE’s method of maintaining Battlefield interest ahead of the release of Battlefield V on October 19 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
