Brad Vickers, a main character from the original Resident Evil 3, has been brought back from the grave by the same evil forces that resurrected the entire Baker family. Armed with a trusty handgun and a chainsaw, Brad is ready to take down the evil forces one more time.

I’ve always been a big fan of the Resident Evil series, and I’ve played everything from the original release back in 1996 to Resident Evil 6. I’ve also played all the games, watched all the movies, and read all the comics. It was very surprising to me when I finished Resident Evil 6 in a single sitting, and I wasn’t really interested in replaying that game again. So one day, I decided to compare the new Resident Evil “Remake” with the original Resident Evil 3 for the Sega Saturn.

Resident Evil 3 is one of the most iconic Resident Evils of all time. Released in 1998, it takes place on a mysterious island that hides an evil presence. Resident Evil 3 was released in 1999. The 2002 GameCube remake is an improved version of the original game. In this video, I will compare the original version of Resident Evil 3 to its remake and also to the 2015 prequel Resident Evil 0.

The charming young dashing detective Brad Vickers, a member of S.T.A.R.S. and an all-around American hottie.

Unfortunately, life hasn’t been kind to poor old Brad, who made his initial appearance in Resident Evil, albeit it was only for a short time. He was the pilot that took the crew to the eerie Spencer Mansion.

He was doomed from the start in Resident Evil 3 as Jill entered the famous Bar and saw him get bit by several surrounding Zombies. As you can see from the comparison videos, he was doomed from the start in the original as Jill entered the famous Bar and saw him get bit by several surrounding Zombies.

He survived a bit longer in the remake since he was allowed to run with Jill, and his death, as you can see, was totally different, albeit Zombies were once again the ones to put him to death. Even so, the distinctions may be seen.

RESIDENT EVIL 3 is the third installment in the RESIDENT EVIL series (REMAKE)

Even though he had been bitten and was clearly doomed, his destiny had not yet been determined.

Before Brad’s game was finished, he managed to make at least one more appearance. Again, the contrasts are obvious; in the original, Nemesis seals his destiny. In the remake, his fate is determined by Carlos or the player (whatever you choose), as you find yourself in a short battle where you must kill him off.

The fact that, unlike the Original, Marvin makes an appearance in both the Original and the Remake is also new. Because Marvin was never in Resident Evil 3 to begin with, there is still another significant difference between the two versions.

RESIDENT EVIL 3 (REMAKE)

As you can see, there is a significant difference between the Original and Remake versions.

We usually love making pages like this since we think it’s fascinating to observe the variations.

Anyway, you were a good sport, Brad Vickers!
