As you can imagine, it’s pretty common for players to have a hangover when they wake up on a Sunday morning. It may not be physical, but most players know that feeling all too well.

The Weekend Hangover: Albion Online 2019 | The Weekend Hangover is a review of the in-game events that took place on Monday and Tuesday of this past weekend. The Weekend Hangover focuses solely on the events and does not contain world news or future prediction of any sort.

Ever wanted to write for a living? So have I. If you’re like me, the thought of doing something you love every day is intoxicating. In an effort to make my dreams a reality, I’ve been contemplating an exciting new career path—publishing.  I’m not saying this is a new career, but I do intend on trying it out.

Too Much Gaming’s Monday ruminations on the games or games we played during the weekend are called The Weekend Hangover. The hangover we’re nursing is sometimes caused by booze, but most of the time it’s due to too much gaming.

Albion Online, developed by Sandbox Interactive, became free to play on April 10th. I was intrigued by the game and had been wanting to investigate it, so I dove straight in.

I totally forgot that anytime these kinds of games become free from their premium status, I’d be the first in line, and I’d wind myself sitting in front of a login page with a lengthy line. This simply means that instead of playing in the early hours of the night, I had to play in the afternoon amid the scorching heat of the weekend.

Albion Online is a Diablo-style isometric sandbox MMORPG with a player-driven economy similar to EVE Online. “You are what you wear” is the primary tagline. Every item purchased from the shop is handcrafted by a human, and each item you wear contributes to the development of your character’s abilities and the shaping of your preferred playstyle.

The weekend is over and the hangovers have started. It’s time to kick back and enjoy some free time. But do you know what’s even better than that? No homework, no piles of work and no deadlines—just you, your computer and a few beers. But do you really want to play all night? This is the weekend hangover, Albion Online, the game where you can enjoy each minute of your life and never know when the other guys will show up..
