Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark is an action-adventure third-person shooter video game developed by Edge of Reality and released by WayForward Technologies for several platforms with a focus on role-playing and strategy aspects. The game features exciting action based on the Transformers toy brand, and it is the third installment in the War of Cybertron video game series. The game takes set between Transformers: Fall of Cybertron and Transformers: War for Cybertron, and takes place before the film Transformers: Age of Extinction. The game’s plot begins with a meteor crashing onto Planet Earth. As the plot progresses, the Autobots arrive at the crash site to investigate, and Optimus meets Dark Spark, an old Cybertronian artifact. The player may choose from four playable characters and begin the game by selecting his favorite. The player’s character is armed with sophisticated weaponry that may be utilized to defeat opponents. In Online mode, up to four players may go on epic adventures to face off against difficult opponents while wielding incredible weaponry.
The latest entry in the Transformers franchise, Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark, is being developed by a little known studio called “Lightmare Studios” or “Leap 42 Studios” as they are more commonly referred to. Much like the other Transformers movie (released in 2007), “Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark” will be a live-action movie. It is not clear whether it will be a sequel to the 2007 Transformers movie or a reboot, though it is clear that it will be rated PG-13 and will have a runtime of at least 150 minutes..
