The company’s latest gaming-centric product is the Asus ROG Bezel-Free Kit, which comes with a VR headset and a laptop.
Asus has brought a kit to make the gaming experience more immersive. The kit is called Bezel-Free Kit and it’s designed for gamers who want to focus on the game rather than the screen.
Asus demonstrated its new Bezel Free kit, which allows for a more immersive gaming experience while using several displays. The bezel kits are designed to combine two or three monitors in order to remove the bezels and the distraction they create.
These bezels were created by Asus with thin lenses composed of PMMA (Poly(methyl methacrylate)), which are more robust than glass. These lenses are designed to bend the light from two monitors inwards, allowing the bezels to be hidden.
According to Asus, it does not pass 100% of the light from the displays, but it does pass 90% of it, which is obviously far better than the bezels. The images below show three displays with and without bezels.
Bezel kit included
Asus designed them for 24- and 25-inch displays, and they’re working on larger monitors as well. Although these lenses will work with any brand of monitor, Asus advises that you double-check compatibility before purchasing.
The Bezel kit works with any monitor with a narrow bezel and provides an immersive experience with three displays. The optics don’t provide a completely smooth image since there is some blur, but when you look at all of the displays together, you won’t notice it as much.
These kits are expected to be released before the end of the year, according to Asus. Another fantastic technology that is required for gaming on three monitors.
