If you think that Bioshock Infinite is a game that could have been made 30 years ago, you are wrong. This game is one of the best, if not the best, games to be released this year. There were plenty of other games like this last year, but Bioshock Infinite is a bit different, and it’s the reason why it’s the best game of the year.
Irrational Games’ Bioshock Infinite is out for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, and it’s shaping up to be one the most important games the industry has seen in years. Why? Because it’s unlike anything else out there. It’s not just a shooter. It’s not just an RPG. It’s not just a shooter/RPG/Strategy game—it’s all of these things at once. It’s a game that expands on the Bioshock franchise in ways that many players simply didn’t expect. Bioshock Infinite is unlike anything you’ve ever played before.
Bioshock Infinite made its first breakthrough debut on March 26, 2013, and the community applauded and approved it. “Bioshock infinite dominates the gaming world,” as the headline implies, is simply true. Despite the fact that its predecessors Bioshock and Bioshock 2 had similar audiences, Infinite went a step farther. I recall losing it while I was playing with “Booker Dewitt.” In every way, the game was engrossing and engaging. Bioshock infinite has this thing where you can’t stop playing it. The story is heartbreaking, and it dragged you along until you were on the verge of death.
Here’s some sound advice: try to finish the game as quickly as possible. You may be asking why I’m the one advising you on what speed to take. But here’s the thing: there’s a catch. The game is intricate, and Elizabeth and Booker are both involved. You won’t be able to comprehend the plot as easily with these two leads. You’ll have to search around, spend hours investigating regions and looking for texts that fit together to give you the full picture. I don’t want to give anything away, so I’ll save the rest of my constructive critique for the article’s latter sections: the main title and its DLCs.

Bioshock Infinite tells the tale of “Booker DeWitt,” a private investigator on a mission to the floating metropolis of Columbia. He sets out to locate a girl named “Elizabeth” and return to New York with her. Unfortunately, the floating metropolis of Columbia is ruled by Zachary Hale Comstock (the story’s antagonist). His acts are terrible, and he is nasty. The game starts with a murder spree that will send shivers down your spine. It was because to Zachary Hale Comstock that the game’s slogan, “Bring us the girl, wipe away the debt,” became so popular in Columbia’s dystopian society.
It’s interesting to see how the slogan has been passed down to you, Booker DeWitt. The art form and visuals of the game are really fascinating and worthy of admiration, so your initial thoughts may be wonderful and heavenly when you enter into this fictional world. Fine details encase you at the location, and suddenly you’re gone. Because the game is so unpredictable, you’ll need a well-thought-out plan to defeat your in-game foe.
In terms of utilizing power and weapons, as well as an interactive environment to blend in, the game is very similar to prior games. The controls are really captivating; all you have to do is utilize your abilities in equal measure to your weapons. If you have two correctly slotted weapons, for example, make sure you remain in contact with those two abilities at the top left side of your screen.
The developers may have spent a lot of effort to provide you with a coworker: Elizabeth. You may utilize her and her evil abilities to alter time, conjure barriers, and earn a few pence for ammunition (Thank you, Elizabeth, it means a lot). She may also use portals and summon “Tears” (items from other worlds) that are only available in Bioshock endless. Not to add, due of the game’s twists and turns, I was caught aback and pretty much found myself in complete agony (just play it, you’ll see). Bioshock Infinite was the real definition of gaming at the moment, and it will always be for me.
Overall, Bioshock infinite gives you everything you need; how you utilize it is up to you.
Episode 1 of Burial at Sea

The initial downloadable material (DLC) has a different storyline from the main game, although it is still the same. That’s a strange way to play the game. Isn’t it time to point the blame at the developers? You get to control Booker DeWitt, and there’s also Elizabeth, who is a bit goth-like. You will go into the city of Rapture for the setting (encapsulated within a vast ocean, precisely). It’s your job to locate another female. I’m not sure why you feel the need to constantly locate females. Regardless, the game has all of the previous Bioshock endless features.
You get to play in an interactive world, plan out detailed tactics, take advantage of Elizabeth, and utilize your abilities. Despite the fact that you are in a lifeless city, the things you may get are inadequate. So, think carefully about your next move!
Episode 2 of Burial at Sea

The Burial at Sea episode was split into two parts. The second episode, on the other hand, continues the narrative from the first. The only change between the two episodes is that this time you play with Elizabeth. It may be difficult for you to tinker with all of the game elements since you take on a new viewpoint. What is it about playing with Elizabeth that fascinates you? You may hop between the many voids and tears that are accessible to you. It’s worth noting that the conclusion of Burial at Sea is identical to that of Bioshock Infinite. So, are you prepared for the life-changing events of Burial at Sea?
