Cougar’s new mini-ITX chassis is called Conquer. It’s a small, tidy, efficient chassis that looks like a million bucks. However, it’s only made for Micro ATX motherboards and while it’s not as small as high-end Mini ITX chassis, it’s still a great size. The chassis has a very aggressive front panel that looks sleek. It’s also very thin and made from metal. It’s a real looker!

We got our hands on a Cougar Conquer Micro ATX build, and tested the following specs: a 3.8 GHz Intel Core i7-7700K, 16 GB of DDR4 RAM, 2 TB Hard Drive, and a GTX 1060. The build also has the latest XFast USB 3.0 Technology, and an 8-port USB 3.0 hub, as well as two USB 3.1 Type-A ports, and a Type-C port.

Cougar introduced a new creation known as Conquer™ M, a smaller version of Conquer™ S, intended to fit into Micro ATX cases. The new motherboard features an LGA1151 socket (same as Haswell), supports all the latest DDR4 memory, dual AMD CrossFireX video cards and one PCIe slot for the new NVIDIA GeForce GeForce GTX 1060.

Cougar has revealed a new case that would be a smaller version of the brand’s famous Conquer case and will be targeted at Micro ATX builds. Conquer Essence is the name of the new sibling. It will be for people who desire the same flavor as the larger portion but in a smaller package.

The Conquer Essence will be able to accommodate both Micro ATX and Mini ATX motherboards, as well as plenty of cooling and storage space for your gaming necessities. The casing is similar to its larger counterpart but has a distinct appearance of its own. It is also an open design with tempered glass panels and a CNC-milled aluminum frame that guarantees the case’s longevity.

The case has three 2.5-inch drive bays that can also accommodate 3.5-inch drives, as well as a pair of 3.5-inch bays. USB3.0 x 2 / Mic x 1 / Audio x 1 is the IO configuration, however a type C connector would have been a wonderful addition. The case can accommodate two 120mm fans in the front and rear, as well as a 240mm AIO in the top and front. The casing is 233 x 480 x 522 mm (9.17 x 18.89 x 20.55 in) in size (WxHxD). The case can also accommodate a GPU with a length of up to 350mm, which implies that nearly all cards are supported. Each piece of tempered glass is 5mm thick and of good quality.

Cougar Computer is a company that often surprises its customers with its announcements. The first was the original Cougar Conquer, a powerful tower, which was followed by a small tower. The small tower was called Conquer Mini, and it was announced several months ago. Once the new board was out, it was obvious that some of the board features were not compatible with its bigger brother. The Conquer Mini features a much smaller CPU cooler, a shorter distance between the socket and I/O ports, and no external power connector..
