Fractal Design has announced the release of new accessories for its Define R5 and Define S cases, including a new tempered glass side panel, RGB LED strip extension kit, and more.
Fractal Design has extended its accessories range for the Define R5 and Define S PC Cases. The new range includes a number of new products, such as a 360 degree rotating motherboard tray, a front panel with USB 3.0 and audio jacks, an easy-to-clean dust filter, and more.
We recently learned that Fractal Design has expanded its line of accessories for the Define R6 and is now expanding their range of accessories for their other PC cases, including the Define R5 and Define S, allowing proud owners of these cases to add a refinement layer to their cases.

In the Define R5, a user may now replace the current panel with tempered glass on either side thanks to two new tempered glass upgrade kits from Fractal Design. The tempered is more convenient because to its toolless design and compatibility with the Define R5’s fast release mechanism; nevertheless, additional thumbscrews are included to give an additional layer of protection for the case.
The upgrade kit for the Define S is also compatible with the company’s other devices, including the Define R4, Core 3300, and Core 3500 Series, and the tempered glass comes with a captive thumbscrew, making installation a breeze.
Both upgrade kits are now available for purchase, and the MSRP of the Define R5 TG Side Panel and the Define S TG Side Panel is $29.99, implying that for about $30, one may give their old case a contemporary appearance. This approach to upgrading existing PC cases, in my opinion, is excellent because it allows users to enjoy modern features without having to change PC cases frequently.
