The last thing I want to do in this blog post is give you a long list of tips on how to make the best of your game experience. That’s because I believe that everyone is different and will approach the game differently. That said, though, there are a few more general tips that should be noted:
Horizon Zero Dawn is a great game for PlayStation 4, but there are many small things you can do to make more money. You can find most of these tips in our book, Game Value Guide 2018.
Horizon Zero Dawn is one of the most successful video games of 2017 and it has shown quite a lot of promise so far. I have been playing this game for some time now and I have managed to gain some good experience throughout. Horizon Zero Dawn is an RPG and is set in a post-apocalyptic world where robots and human get along with each other.

To begin, I’d want to state that I’ve finished a thorough and in-depth playthrough of Horizon on V. Hard. It took me 70 hours, I never ran out of materials or potions, and I was sitting on 61 thousand shards as the credits began to roll. I don’t mention this to boast, but it’s simply to reassure you that what I’m going to say about Horizon’s economy is true.
What should come first?
I would advise you to visit the Daytower and speak with the merchant there. Check out his arsenal of weapons and clothes, and select which weaponry you want as quickly as possible, as well as whatever costume you want to wear.
Stats on clothes aren’t as important as one would assume, so why choose fashion over statistics? When I initially arrived to Daytower, I chose Carja Silks Heavy and wore it for the next 50 hours or so.
When you’ve determined what you want to do, make a note of how many Hearts or Braidings you’ll need. For example, the outfit I described calls for 1x Longleg Heart. These regulations have an impact on cost-cutting.
What do you want to sell 100 percent?
Vendor garbage includes Desert Glass, Slagshine Glass, and Ancient Stuff.
Nothing of worth can be acquired from merchants with those goods, therefore you may sell the whole stack. Hold 10x Desert and 10x Slagshine Glass if you absolutely want to be safe, but that’s two inventory spaces wasted.
If you don’t need all of your readily farmable / attainable hearts and lenses for a weapon or outfit on your to-buy list, consider selling them. Machines like Watchers, Grazers, and Scrappers are abundant, quick to destroy, and dump their basic resources often, allowing you to reclaim them as required.
Keep hearts and lenses in inventory if the machine type is rare or difficult to destroy, but never more than 5x. Even 3x stacks are plenty.
You may sell all other fast travel goods once you have a permanent fast travel pack.
Weapons of the lower tier. There’s no need to carry about blue and green sharpshot bows if you have a purple one.
Mods of a lower rank. You should sell all blue and green damage coils if you have purple damage coils. I intended to have 2x to 3x of each kind on me at this point. The remainder was sold. So, if I had five damage coils, I’d retain two of the finest and sell the other three. Swapping newer and better modifications into the gear and then selling the old ones may earn extra money.
What should be sold in moderation?
Metal Vessels, Sparkers, Wires, Blazes, Chillwater, Echo Shells, and Metalburn are all examples of metal vessels.
When you reach your personal minimum threshold, you should sell all of the goods listed above. I’ve always strived for 200x everything else, but just 50x to 100x Metalburn and 200x to 300x Wire.
This method always has a decent supply of ammunition manufacturing materials on hand, but because of how quickly these things stack, you can earn a lot of money by selling 100x Blaze while you’re sitting on 300x.
The majority of hearts and lenses may be sold completely, but 3x lenses and hearts should be kept on hand just in case. The maximum stack size is five, although you’ll never need more than three for purchases at a time. The more uncommon and difficult the equipment, the more lenses and hearts it can contain.
Flowers are used to make remedies. There’s no need for more than one complete stack (25x), although I usually keep mine at 15. Everything was sold over that.
The same goes for meats and flowers.
Animal bones and skins may be sold now if you’re alright with refarming these components when you get fresh pouches.
Everything above 3x or 5x in braids should be sold. I saved three stacks.
Traps under “Traps & Potions”, depending on how you use them keep e.g. 6x of each or sell all. Steady income here too.
Is there anything else?
I never went out of my way to destroy every machine I came across or hunt down every treasure in the area, but if it’s not nailed down, simply loot it. I’m sure you already do, but just in case.
Ridge-wood is something you’ll never run out of and is extremely simple to get by. It can’t be sold to merchants, and you shouldn’t go out of your way to acquire more if you already have 2k of it. Filler for the inventory.
As you reduce what you carry and how much you carry, your revenue will soar since you’ll be continually selling things, but you’ll also acquire more inventory space, making it unlikely that you’ll reach the 100/100 mark.
