If you wish to go to the Color Dungeon, you’ll need to find the Power Bracelet. Fortunately, obtaining it is not difficult.
The Bottle Grotto is the second major dungeon in Link’s Awakening. The Power Bracelet is in the center of the dungeon. As a result, you’ll have to go far enough into the game to enter this dungeon. The Power Bracelet’s position inside the dungeon may be seen in the image above.
You will have the first artifact needed to enter the Color Dungeon after finishing the dungeon. However, there are a few more items you will need.
2. Get your hands on the Pegasus Boots.
You’ll want to get the Pegasus Boots if you want to take advantage of all the Color Dungeon has to offer. This item will enable you to experience some of the dungeon’s extra backstory.
The Pegasus Boots may be discovered in Key Cavern, the third major dungeon. The location of the item inside the dungeon is listed above.
If you only want to go to the Color Dungeon as soon as possible, you may skip this item. However, it is recommended that you get these boots first.
3. Visit the library to learn about The Hidden Power of Color.
After that, you’ll want to go over to the Village Library. Mabe Village is situated southwest of the library. When you enter the library, you’ll notice an unique book on a bookshelf towards the rear.
You may smash through the bookcase with your Pegasus Boots and knock the tempting tome to the ground. The Hidden Power of Color is the title of the book.
A world of color lies under the adjacent cemetery, according to the book. What’s more, it shows how to go inside the Color Dungeon.
4. Visit the Cemeteries
The next step is to go north of Ukuku Prairie to the cemetery. You will see five tombstones as you arrive. This is the conundrum about which The Hidden Power of Color forewarned you.
You may turn north from Mabe Village’s east exit until you reach a set of stairs. Then, using your Power Bracelet, remove a boulder that’s obstructing your path to the cemetery.
If you want to enter the Color Dungeon, you must push each tombstone in the correct sequence. Take a look at the list below to see the order.
1. The grave in the bottom right corner must be moved down. 2. The grave on the bottom left must be moved to the left. 3. The grave on the top left must be moved up. 4. The top-right grave must be moved to the right. 5. The grave in the top-right corner must be moved up.
A hidden entrance will appear once you finish the task. You are now free to enter the Color Dungeon. Above is a video of a tour of the mystery dungeon.
