The only problem with Civilization V is that it has no happiness. Or at least that’s the opinion of many players. If you play Civilization V on the PC, you’re almost guaranteed to make at least a little bit of progress towards your happiness goals. But what if you’re playing it on the iPad, or the iPhone, or the Android device?

Civilization V is a strategy game that has been around for years. It has been selling millions of copies since its release in 2010. The game is a turn-based strategy game, where you start with a civilization and you have to build up your civilization by researching technology, building cities, and fighting wars. You can research different technologies to improve your civilization. You can build more than one city. You can fight wars with your neighbors. There are some videos on YouTube showing you how to play the game, but unfortunately, there are not many strategies that can be used.

Around the same time I first saw Civilization V, the Civilization series was entering the peak of its popularity. The game was lauded by critics and fans alike, and it was a big step forward for the franchise. However, the game’s inspired by a real-world phenomenon that doesn’t seem to exist in Civilization VI: contentment.

When you have a lot of cities and want to keep growing, happiness is a difficult stat to keep up with in Civilization V. Here are a few things that will help you maintain your Civilization’s happiness level in the positives. Remember, it’s better to have a clear strategy in place for obtaining these resources, structures, or social policies as soon as possible, since taking over or constructing a new city causes a lot of dissatisfaction. So, before you extend your empire too far, make sure you can construct some of these structures.

Unique / Luxury Resources give +5 happiness each. Try to scout early and find these, they are very valuable not only for the added happiness, but for trading with other civs for their own unique resources as well. Buildings that increase happiness: Circus (if you have Iron and/or Horses nearby) Colosseum Courthouse (eliminates unhappiness from occupying a city) Theatre Stadium The Burial Tomb, a unique building for the Egyptian civilization increases happiness as well. Wonders that increase happiness: Eiffel Tower Notre Dame The Hanging Gardens Social Policies that increase happiness: Legalism (Tradition) Meritocracy (Liberty) Military Caste (Honor) Piety Theocracy (Piety) Cultural Diplomacy (Patronage) Protectionism (Commerce) Humanism (Rationalism) Freedom Planned Economy (Order) Police State (Autocracy) Civilization 5 Brave New World Brave New World Update! With the Brave New World civilization 5 DLC, there are new ways of increasing happiness. One example is the new Idelogies. Here are all the different bonuses you can get: (From Order, Freedom and Autocracy:
