In Bioshock Infinite , you play as Booker Dewitt, a man who had a chance encounter with a woman named Elizabeth — then had a series of unfortunate events take place, leaving him as an old man trapped in 1912, with the knowledge of events that occurred in the intervening period. The game’s story is grounded in reality, inasmuch as you experience the actual events of the story, but the universe of Columbia is created by the minds of Ken Levine and his team at Irrational Games .

Sucker Punch Productions’ Bioshock Infinite was released earlier this year and is one of my favorite (and most anticipated) games of the year. The combat mechanics are very good and the story, while somewhat linear, is told really well. I did have a few issues with the ending, though. There was no real wow factor finale to the story, and it was a little disappointing. I think the game ended at just the right spot, though.

The last video in the Heavy Hitters introductory video series was recently published by Irrational Games. This video series takes a closer look at the Heavy Hitters that you’ll encounter in Bioshock Infinite. You should see what the Big Daddy and Big Sister have in store for us if you thought the Big Daddy and Big Sister’s were terrible.

I’m really looking forward to this game. I’m becoming more excited about this game as I learn more about it. Bioshock Infinite will be released on the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on October 16, 2012.
