(MHW) Monster Hunter World is a highly anticipated game title that is scheduled for release on January 26, 2018. Despite its high profile, this game is still fairly new and players are still finding new gear and items to help them in their adventures. Here is a guide to the Dodogama costume available in this game.
Poogie is the adorable pet Pig that lives in Astera. Though the Pig isn’t a major character in the game, it does serve as a friendly companion who you can expect to meet whenever you return to town.
You may give it a new name (he or she), pick it up, pet it, and even dress it up in cute tiny outfits. The following is a step-by-step method to getting the Dodogama outfit for your screaming pal.
Dodogama is a monster in the game who is often seen in the Elder’s Recess. Though not as strong as other monsters, the Dodogama is nonetheless a force to be reckoned with, capable of spitting fire and rolling on top of you until you’re as flat as a pancake.
This one, on the other hand, caught me completely by surprise when I was able to acquire it. I’m pretty sure you can only get it if you have the Iceborne expansion.
Of course, your first journey should be to Astera, where you’ll only discover Poogie. Hopefully, and as a word of caution, this is a game of chance, but if you’re fortunate, your pet piggy will arrive and get upset. The pig’s agitation indicates that it has seen something, but he will not get upset until you pick him up. When you approach a secret object, the tiny oinker in your arms will start to squirm and your PS4 controller will begin to vibrate.
Stop and drop the piggy when this occurs to let it know that you have also detected the object, and it will now go over and dig for it. You may then interact with it to get the thing you want. This is, of course, a well-known element of the basic game, but just in case you needed a refresher, here it is.
Now for the real reason you came here, the Dodogama costume.
Isn’t he adorable? Let’s get this party started. You’re in Astera now, or should be. You now want to be in the Tradeyard area, which is on the ground level. There will now be a moving platform near the Quest Board, just behind the Research Center, with the object you seek on the left side of this aforementioned platform. When the controller vibrates, walk around it while holding your screaming buddy, then drop the piggy to collect the object. It’s finished!
If you’re having trouble changing your outfit, it will appear when you choose to engage with the tiny oinker; just pick it.
