Join me as I continue to explore the new region of RDR2, the Spines Of America! My first day in this area was quite eventful, and I’m happy to say this mission has some of the most challenging and interesting encounters of any of the chapters that I’ve undertaken so far. This chapter marks the start of a breakneck pace of missions, with the next coming in a little under a week. I’m looking forward to taking on the next set, especially as they will include some of my favorite missions.

Welcome to another Chapter of the Spines of America in Red Dead Redemption 2! In this Chapter, we are going to explore the Horseshoe Overlook! This is a very high priority mission that we will do twice (once for the Gold and again for the Legendary mission). Both of these missions are very time consuming and are going to take a lot of time. You can expect a video guide for this Chapter to come soon.

The Spines Of America is a mission in Red Dead Redemption 2 which can be accessed via Chapter 2 of the game’s main story. This mission is also one of the Gold Mission Rewards, which means you will gain access to an exclusive weapon and outfit for free if you complete its requirements. With the completion of this mission allowing you to also replay the story chapter which it is a part of, this mission is also a great way of setting up the main story’s conclusion.

This page contains instructions on how to get the Gold Mission Rewards.

This tutorial will walk you through all of the numerous goals you’ll need to complete in order to get the Gold Rush Trophy / Achievement, which needs you to collect approximately 70 Gold Rewards from various missions.

MISSION 9) The Spines Of America

OBJECTIVES OF THE MISSION: 1) Take everything from Camody Dell. 2) Avoid being seen 3) Deliver the Wagon in under a minute 10

INFO: The easiest way of handling this mission is to complete it during nightfall. Doing so will make things much easier as the 2 home owners will not be wandering around, instead they will be asleep in their beds. There are several items to get whilst downstairs.. (Remember to go first-person if need be) 1) A Bottle to the left of the door, on the table 2) A pack of Cigarette Cards by the window also in the main room 3) Several items inside the chest by the door in the same room. 4) Going into the downstairs bedroom, you will spot another chest on the floor by the door. 5) In the second top drawer in the chest of drawers is another item 6) Also in the bedroom should be a small cabinet on the wall, with more items 7) Heading out of the bedroom and towards the stairs. Stop before ascending and look to your right for a Carrot and Apple 8) Again before ascending there is money under the chimney to your left and by the stairs. 9) Heading up the stairs and into another bedroom, head towards the large cupboard. Here is where my issue was found. Now there is a half empty Health item which can at times be glitched and you cannot pick up. I had to re-do the mission in order to get it. There are several other items here too, all of which should be easy enough to pick up. Do NOT forget the watch on the bottom draw of the same Cupboard 10) The last remaining items are in the chest at the end of the bed.

If the owners are still asleep, it should be simple to avoid being seen, so remain low and approach softly. After that, you must return in 1 minute and 10 seconds, ignoring the awful way-point that will only delay you down. Instead, focus only on the map’s primary goal, making sure not to run into anything that may obstruct your progress.
