This week, Steam is hosting a massive sale to celebrate the best game of all time, Half-Life 2. That’s right, Valve has decided to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of one of the best games ever made by offering 25% off games for a week. These deals are treated like a ‘Super Sale’ and offer huge discounts on some great titles, so I’d recommend picking up the ones that interest you.  For anyone that isn’t too sure what to get, you can always check out our list of the best games on Steam for this sale or check out the full lineup here.

I am a big fan of Steam’s Summer Sale, and that starts today, so I thought I’d put together a list of the games that I think are worth the money. I’m not going to be listing everything, but there are a few things that I want to mention:

Just about a week ago, Steam announced it was going to have a big sale on games over the weekend. The response was amazing, with many people spending hours (and days) trying to take advantage of all the deals Steam was offering.

From April 29 to May 6, Steam is holding a Golden Week Sale, which offers discounts on a variety of Japanese-made games. We took a peek at what’s on sale and found a few excellent deals if you’re searching for a new PC game to play this week.

It’s a big list, so we’ve combed through it and compiled a selection of titles we think you’ll like at a great price. Since of the recent release of NieR: Replicant, some may be on a NieR high, and because Automata is a sequel that takes place years in the future, it occupies the top position on our recommended list.

Octopath Traveler is also on the list, a good JRPG that seems to be immune to discounts, since it’s still uncommon to see the title drop below 50%. If you’re searching for a more familiar RPG with a sense of nostalgia, the Trails of Mana reboot, which was released last year on Steam, has already received a significant price reduction. You may also try something different with Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding, which is now on sale for more than half off.

Please keep in mind that pricing are in Philippine Pesos and may vary based on the location.
