I am a 21 year old college student from the New England area, and I currently play World of Warcraft. I have been playing this game since Vanilla, and I have been very active in the past year and a half. I have been spending a lot of money on this game, and it has become a real burden on my budget. I am trying to get my WoW addiction out of control, and I need to save up for the next expansion, WoD, but I am having a hard time doing so.

More and more players are now taking advantage of the new method introduced by Blizzard to get a horse in World of Warcraft Classic, which is using the WoW Token feature. But if you are a new player, you might not know how it works. Here are a few tips that may help you save some gold and finally get a new mount in WoW Classic!

Today we are going to talk about how to save up and get a horse or mount in World of Warcraft Classic. The process is the same as it was in the old days, but there are some things to be aware of.

In vanilla World of Warcraft, level 40 is considered to be the midway point between level 60 and the time when you can finally acquire your horse. The mount costs a total of 100 gold, with the mount costing 80 gold and the training costing 20 gold. Unless you’re exalted with that faction, you’ll have to purchase the mount from your racial vendor (i.e. Humans get horses, need exalted with Darnassus to get tigers, etc.).

The best advice is to start preparing for your horse as soon as you reach level one. Never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever Except to unload goods, stay away from the auction house. At lower levels, there isn’t much you can purchase that is worth the money, and other players will happily spend their gold. Also, don’t follow a flying route every time. Flights are costly. Simply walk if it isn’t across the whole continent!

Grinding: While questing, grind. Simply harvest opponents while walking to your destination. Continue grinding even after the mission is completed. Everything should be looted.

Gathering: Gathering talents are very valuable. The more you can collect and sell, the more money you’ll have in your pocket by level 40, and the more probable it is that you’ll have that 100 gold saved up. Making money with scavenging, mining, and herbalism is a STRONG combination.

On the auction house, compare ores and bars. People frequently pay more for ore because they desire it for leveling.

Class Abilities: Don’t purchase any abilities unless you intend to utilize them. For example, pummel isn’t required for leveling and may be left at rank 1.

If you must spend money on equipment, concentrate only on your weapon. Everything else is a quest.

Discounts: There will be no PvP levels in Phase 1, however rank 3 will offer you a mount discount. Honor works as well, and unless you’re using a leveling guide, you should always follow the mission route for your race.

Fishing Oily Blackmouths in the Wetlands on economically established servers is an excellent way to get money once the economy in WoW Classic begins to take off. The same may be said for a variety of unusual crafting materials. It isn’t compatible with new servers. For example, you may wish to sell leather before the economy is formed. It could sell for a lot more on the AH later on. Make certain to do your research.

That’s all there is to it. Just save your money aside for repairs while you’re leveling. Sell everything you can to merchants and the AH, and if you’re still short at level 40, ask your buddies.

The game of World of Warcraft has been around for a long time. The original World of Warcraft game launched back in 2004, and the game has evolved since then in both gameplay and graphics.
