AMD has released a new Ryzen Gaming SoC which is capable of handling up to four 4K displays, and will be able to handle VR content.AMD has released a new semi-custom Ryzen gaming quad-core SoC. The chip is only $199 and will be available to purchase in April 2018. Read more in detail here: cheap pcs for gaming.

AMD announced the arrival of another another CPU with its Zen architecture, this time with a semi-custom SoC, sometime yesterday (System-on-Chip). Apart from AMD’s Ryzen Threadripper WX and Ryzen 2000 series, it seems that additional Zen-flavored CPUs will be released this autumn. The SoCs will also be included in Zhongshan Subor gaming consoles and gaming PCs, according to the company.

Its design harkens back to the Hades Canyon NUC module AMD created in collaboration with Intel. It combines the power of a Radeon Vega GPU with 24 CUs (Compute Units) operating at 1.3GHz with the performance of a first-generation Ryzen RX 580 (4-core, 8-thread, base clock 3GHz). An 8GB GDDR5 memory module is integrated onto the same chip. There are an amazing amount of CUs under the hood of the Vega GPU Power Porsche, giving the Ryzen 5 2400G a good boost with base speeds of 3.4GHz and boost clocks of 3.8GHz, ahead of AMD’s Ryzen 5 2400G APU, which has 11 Vega CUs clocked at 1.25GHz and also dips into system memory.

The SoC supports AMD technologies such as FreeSync as well as the most current Radeon software, Adrenalin Edition. Designing a semi-custom gaming SoC for a Chinese company (Zhongshan Subor), according to AMD, is an exciting opportunity for AMD to make its High-Performance Technology even more accessible to Chinese gamers.

If AMD chooses to provide comparable SoCs to other manufacturers in the worldwide market, that will be a positive thing. Gaming PCs from the Subhor brand will be available in China later this month. During the latter half of 2018, a game console based on the same Ryzen-Vega SoC will be released. AMD’s invention was on display at ChinaJoy, and the firm has also stated that semi-custom SoCs would be made accessible to clients, allowing them to create high-end gaming systems that are well-suited to their target markets.
