Destiny 2 has been getting quite the attention lately and has seen a lot of changes to the game, some of which are controversial. One of the controversial changes, however, is the removal of the Kinetic Weapons in the game. Kinetic Weapons are a unique type of weapon in Destiny 2, and have quite the history behind them. Kinetic Weapons have come and gone in Destiny 2 and are now making their final appearance in Season 13.

Destiny 2 is a blockbuster game with a massive amount of content. When the game releases in September, players will be able to level up to 20 and acquire over 200 weapons at random from the game’s ever-expanding collection of loot. But the devs have already hinted that some weapons will not be available at launch.

Bungie announced what to anticipate in Season 13, which will launch in February, in their inaugural ‘This Week at Bungie’ article for 2021. Unfortunately, a new season means more of your appearance will be affected by sunsetting, and you’ll have to harvest old gear in its non-sunset versions. The following is a list of what is departing.

The community does not seem pleased that the amount of treasure they may harvest is shrinking. And, to top it off, we’re getting reissued clothing from prior seasons.

Weapons and equipment that have been reissued

The reprinted Dreaming City Reverie Dawn armor, Dreambane armor, Waking Vigil (hand cannon), Sleepless (rocket launcher), Vouchsafe (sniper weapon), and the Retold Tale will all be available in Season 13. (shotgun). Heretic (rocket launcher), Blasphemer (shotgun), Apostate (sniper rifle), and Premonition have all been reprinted in the Moon (pulse rifle).

Yes, going back to the Shattered Throne and Pit of Heresy dungeons is a disappointment, but Bungie claims that the new version of these weapons will have unique rolls never seen before, so be ready to return the dungeons in February.

Because to the introduction of sunsetting gear, which, for those unfamiliar, limits the gear’s light power, making it useless for content that needs high light power, the number of weapons and armor accessible has dropped to its lowest point.

For younger players, the sunset will not be a significant blow to their arsenal, since the old gears returning will most likely be unfamiliar to them. It’s a different tale for the dedicated gamers. It’s a terrible time to be a Destiny 2 player, as your weapons become useless for high-end gameplay and you’re forced to buy newer versions of gear you’ve had for a long time.

Since the release of Destiny 2’s newest expansion, Beyond Light, a large portion of the game’s content has been moved to the Destiny Content Vault (full list found here)

Destiny 2 is getting a lot of content in Season 13, and it’s all wonderful. But some weapons are going to be sunsetting, and you may be surprised to know which ones they are. It’s time to learn their fate, and get a better grasp on what’s coming next.. Read more about destiny 2 weapons not being sunset and let us know what you think.
