Widely considered one of the premier baseball games to hit the PS4, MLB The Show 19 was released in April 2018 and features a host of improvements over its predecessor. Although the game no longer includes the ability to import your own players, it is still a valued roster management simulation.

It has been another rough season for the struggling Minnesota Twins, who have seen their season come to an end after losing Game 5 of the ALDS to the Boston Red Sox. However, it certainly is not all bad news on the Twins side, as one of the team’s top prospects may just be on the verge of making his Major League debut.

MLB The Show 19 Cover Athlete Still Teamless |

Some of the biggest high-profile free agents are still unsigned as MLB spring training approaches this week. Manny Machado and Bryce Harper, the cover athlete of MLB The Show 19, are two of the most prominent unsigned players. The game will be released on March 26th, and many people are wondering which side Bryce Harper will play for in real life and in the game.

Bryce Harper is an excellent pick for The Show’s cover. He puts up god-like statistics and is likely to be remembered as one of the best players of all time. That said, he can be pompous, and his attitude may irritate certain people. Harper and his agent, Scott Boras, are trying to maximize their earnings, but I’m wondering whether Sony and the Show’s producers are concerned about how long it’s taking him to sign with a team.

I have no clue how game covers are made or what the process entails, but I assume that the sooner you get that problem resolved, the more time you’ll have to focus on other critical issues. I’m wondering whether they’ve already shot Harper in a variety of outfits or if they’ll wait till he signs before shooting him. If the latter is the case, the shoot will have to be squeezed in around spring training or something, which may be difficult given Harper’s busy schedule as he adjusts to his new club and prepares for the next season.

Aaron Judge is the cover athlete for MLB The Show 18.

Another possibility that Sony and San Diego Studios explored is staging a picture session and Photoshopping the outfit onto him. This seems to be a straightforward answer, but I’m happy I’m not the one who has to make these choices. At the end of the day, the cover is one of the most essential aspects of a video game. The game’s cover must appeal to the target demographic, and the company must be able to sell it. With little over a month before release, Sony may not be able to sell the product as expected if the cover isn’t completed.

Finally, Bryce Harper is an excellent pick to represent MLB The Show. He is a very talented athlete who is well-known even among non-sports enthusiasts. Harper will be paid well when he eventually signs, but one has to believe that Sony is concerned about how long it has taken him to sign. After all, their paycheck is on the line as well.

Based on the success of MLB The Show 16 (which had the largest launch in the series’ history), MLB The Show 18 is shaping up to be the most popular “MLB The Show” yet. But, what happens when the game is delayed?. Read more about mlb the show 21 cover athlete and let us know what you think.
