A while ago, I posted a request guide for Mareanie, the Alolan form of the Octillery Pokemon. I am very pleased to announce that Mareanie has been confirmed by Nintendo for Pokemon Sun & Moon, as well as being a part of the Alola Region. The Alola Region is the newest of the regions, and features the most Pokemon.
Mareanie is a spineless Pokemon that has a mean disposition and gets mad at anything that makes noise. If you’re going to catch it, you’ll have to catch it quick, because it will run away after taking three steps.
Pokewhore, Mareanie isn’t exactly a Pokemon fan, but she wants to have a good time during her first week trying the game, so she decides to make a guide to help out anyone else who’s curious about Mareanie’s moveset, and wants to see what it can do.
New Pokemon Snap includes a variety of requests known as LenTalk Requests, one of which has you snapping pictures of Mareanie.

- OBJECTIVE: Take a picture of Mareanie on top of Clamperl.

- DESCRIPTION: Isn’t it true that Mareanie was pursuing Corsola throughout the day? It may go for Pokemon like Clamperl in the twilight.
- LEVEL 1 RESEARCH REQUIREMENT
- WALKTHROUGH:
- When you get at the rocky region, you should see at least two Clamperl perched on top of a rock; begin tossing Fluffruit between the two Clamperl. The Clamperl are in the vicinity of a Drifblim.
- Regardless matter how long it takes, keep doing it; believe me, it will work. Anyway, the Mareanie should arrive after a while of waiting and throwing fruit.
- Mareanie will then creep up behind the Clamperl and almost leap upon it.
- Take a picture of Mareanie atop Clamperl.
