Nvidia’s new RTX series of graphics cards is finally here, and it looks like the company has been able to deliver a lot more bang for your buck. The problem is that these powerful GPUs are getting more expensive by the day.

This is almost four times the initial price of $600, and the RTX 3070 is now available for $1800 and more on most retail sites. Only the RTX 3090 costs twice as much as the RTX 3080.
The AMD Navi RX 6000 series GPUs, on the other hand, did not experience a significant price rise. They were, and continue to be, less in stock than Nvidia graphics cards, but have managed to maintain a price that is almost twice the MSRP.
In two weeks, Nvidia’s new RTX 30 series GPUs will be available, featuring an improved GPU ID loop that cuts the hash rate in half. Let’s see whether this works; else, availability and pricing will remain same.
