Following our recent update of the tier list for the 2019 season, a lot of you have asked about future updates. As promised, we’ve got some news. We’ll be continuing to update the tier list with changes from the upcoming season, and we’ll be doing so with a new approach. Instead of releasing a new tier list with new content and changes in the middle of a season, we’ll be releasing a new tier list every month.
This is a list of heroes that I believe to be tier 1 at the moment. I will be updating this list as I play more Heroes of the Storm, and as I see teams play with these heroes. Please remember that I do not play every hero, and players have different comps and playstyles.
I’m glad we got this taken care of early! As of the release of the 2020 League of Legends Champion update, I’ve decided to start working on the tier lists for Heroes of the Storm. The tiers are based on patterns of results, using a set of rules to prevent outliers from skewing the statistics. In terms of the tier list, the goal is to put the heroes where they should be, with a level of consistency that should improve over time.. The third season of Heroes of the Storm, a popular MOBA game, is now in full swing. With that in mind, let’s take a look at how each hero in the huge game fits into the tier list for current meta.
Over the years, Blizzard Entertainment has created a slew of amazing games. This skilled crew has worked on Overwatch, Diablo, Warcraft, and Starcraft, to name a few. The development firm ultimately created the blockbuster MOBA game Heroes of the Storm in 2015, combining their most popular titles.
Within Heroes of the Storm, the player may control characters from several of Blizzard Entertainment’s games, enabling famous heroes like Overwatch’s Tracer or Diablo’s Deckard Cain to return to the limelight. While there are a lot of heroes in the game, it turns out that not all of them are made equal.
Below is the tier list for Heroes of the Storm Season 3 in 2020. However, before going into the list, have a look at the descriptions of each tier.
December 2019 Edits: The meta hasn’t altered much since November. Season 3 has come to a conclusion. Deathwing has been added. Experience globes are an odd mechanism that makes Ragnaros seem to be moving up the tier list, but we’ll have to wait until Season 1 to make any firm judgments.
Descriptions of the Tier Lists
- Tier S — These heroes are often first picks or first bans, and they are very popular. These characters are very powerful and will undoubtedly change the tide of battle.
- Tier A — These heroes aren’t nearly as powerful as the S tier heroes, but they’re nonetheless formidable. These heroes are often safe options to play because to their regular selections and bans.
- Tier B – These heroes are capable and dependable, as well as balanced and fair. These characters are still capable options, despite not being as popular or banned as S or A rank heroes.
- Tier C — Because these heroes aren’t as popular in the current meta, they’re less likely to be chosen or banned. Furthermore, in order to be utilized effectively, these heroes require a high degree of expertise.
- Tier D — These heroes are regarded to be the least popular since they are the least frequent choices or bans. These heroes are also seen to be ineffective in comparison to other characters.
This tier list was last updated on September 24, 2019 to reflect the changes detailed in the patch notes, as well as to add the newest character Qhira.

We’re currently revising our tier list, but Diablo’s usage in the meta right now would definitely push him up. When we play with Deathwing, we think he’s S tier for now, but that may change in the future.

Hello and welcome to my post top heroes of the storm tier list for October 2020. I removed 2 heroes from the list. Anub’arak and Zul’jin. Anub’arak because i just cant use him. Zul’jin because he just never really fits into a tier list. I’ve always loved playing Zul’jin since he was introduced in the HGC but I just cant use him..
