There is also an infrastructure set up for Frenzy, where it too seems like it should have had more weapons and spells. If they are going to add Frenzy and Bleed spells, skills, and weapons, it is likely they need to do a lot of testing prior to release because balancing them for PVP and for PVE seems very difficult.

As if you have to jump in there, chomp chomps your damage really quickly, and then jump away before the enemy thrashes again.

Daggers have the quickest attack times, they inflict affinities like bleeding very quickly, and they have the fastest recovery times. Sadly, the damage they do is just not enough to justify their use over the long term, especially when you pair this with the fact that you have to be very close to do damage, and it is too difficult to do damage on your horse/cow/goat, it is not just worth using daggers.
