Finally, as is the fashion these days, both of these cases feature tempered glass on their side panels.

Mastercase Collection

These cases sometimes perplex me since there are so many identical cases from Cooler Master that it’s difficult to tell them apart. From top to bottom, left to right, the cases are MC500M, MC500P, MC600P, and MC500. 

The MC500P has been redesigned to include a tempered glass panel, but no other changes have been made. However, it is quite similar to the MC500, with the exception of the top panel. Aside than it, the front panel design and inside are identical.

However, save for the outside, the other two cases, the MC500M and MC600P, are identical on the inside to the above-mentioned two cases. The only significant, or should I say small, change in the MC500M is the lack of SSD mounts on the PSU shroud.

The panels of the MC600P may be opened slightly to improve ventilation without fully removing them from the casing.

All of these cases are completely modular, allowing you to simply relocate the hard drive bays. Except for the MC500P, all of the other three cases, including the H500P, include a suitable covering element at the rear to hide the wires. 

Conclusion

I’m not sure what’s going on in Cooler Master’s head since nearly every case in each series has very minor changes, and one could easily mistake current cases with previous cases. However, some of these cases are intriguing, especially with the mesh panels on the front, as everyone went wild when they saw the H500P with its suffocating front panel, which Cooler Master chose to modify.

2018 seems to be shaping up to be a huge year full of surprises. First, we’ll see some mega-blockbuster video games like Battlefield V, Call of Duty: Black Ops III, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Far Cry 5, Just Cause 4, Assassins Creed: Odyssey, and others that have already been published or will be released in the coming months. The same can be said for the computer hardware world, where we have already seen the release of Ryzen 2nd Generation Processors, as well as Threadripper, and the much-anticipated launch of Nvidia’s upcoming GPUs, the RTX series, which is the current topic of debate, with new posts about the RTX Cards appearing on a daily basis.

Hello there, Gaminerds! I updated my personal gaming build, as I mentioned in one of my previous articles. I simply need a gaming PC that can run everything at 1080p and not go below 60 fps. It was about a year ago when I updated it. I started working on it two weeks ago, but it took me some time to setup and test everything correctly.

What I desired, and what I received?

Not only do I like constructing gaming PCs, but I also enjoy creating color schemes. I intended to go with a white/black motif for this build, but as you can see from the screenshots above, I wasn’t able to do so. What I received was this:

Intel i5 6600K processor

DeepCool Captain 240 White CPU cooler

Asus Z170 Pro Gaming Motherboard

Gskill Ripjaws V series 16GB DDR4 3200Mhz RAM

Cooler Master 690 III case

If I had gotten the above components, my build would have been mostly white/black. But I couldn’t locate them anywhere in the market. Not even on the internet. Prices are awful in nations other than the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, and certain products from companies like NZXT are expensive; I didn’t want to purchase them for the price they demanded. The Asus Z170 A is only accessible on occasion on the market; the Asus Z170 pro gaming was the alternative.

Despite the fact that the Pro gaming version has more functions, I didn’t require them. Corsair Vengeance white LED memories seem fantastic, but when I couldn’t locate them in Nehru Place, which is billed as Asia’s largest electronics market (although I don’t believe this is true), I inquired around in a few stores for at least Memories with a white aluminum heat spreader or white LEDs.

Surprisingly, I couldn’t locate one, so I settled for black Gskill Ripjaws RAM modules, which are still much superior than any other. My greatest misfortune, though, was not receiving the NZXT S340 white. That is, without a doubt, the most gorgeous mid-tower case ever made. Money wasn’t an issue, but I was surprised to see that instead of selling it for $100 here, Amazon.in was asking $250. WOW! That’s excessive, and there wasn’t one on the market.

I’m not sure what the dealers’ role is and why only NZXT goods are so costly, so I requested for a white mid-tower case that looked comparable. And the Cooler Master 690III proved to be the best value for money. I bought it for $123, and despite the fact that it’s fairly ancient, it’s quite large and has a lot of useful functions.

In my situation, some of the things I didn’t want were: –

1. I didn’t want a case with front-mounted hard drive cages, which a lot of cases have.
2. I didn’t want the power supply displayed on the window panel.

But I decided to make an exception. Apart from that, the only negative aspect of this case is the tiny motherboard cutout, which prevented me from correctly installing the liquid CPU cooler after the motherboard had been fitted and all other components attached to it. But I found out a method to avoid using the tiny rubber stoppers that came with the screws.

What was the outcome?

I realize that’s a lot more than it should be, but what can I do if the market continues to sell at such a high rate?

Extreme Settings @1080p Heaven benchmark

Although the minimum seems to be excessively low, it was just a one-time fall, and the frames per second never fell below 45. My PC performed well at severe tesselation, 8xMsaa, and ultra settings.

Nvidia hair works are turned off in The Witcher 3: Ultra Settings @1080p.

What do I need right now?

I just need an SSD and one 140mm blue LED fan for the front and one 120mm white LED fan for the back. That is all there is to it.

What are your thoughts on my design? What did you think of it? Share your views on it, or maybe come up with a suitable name for it.
