Corsair is now one of the most well-known gaming companies, and their Vengeance RGB PRO line of RAM sticks is a perfect illustration of why.

They provide very high performance that has not been compromised in any way in order to provide you with something that will look beautiful and prevent your ram slots from becoming a blank, dull place in your otherwise brilliantly illuminated setup.

Each stick contains ten individually controllable RGB LEDs that are also quite bright, so even if your PC case has smoked glass instead of transparent, you’ll still get the entire effect.

Because they’re manufactured by Corsair, you can adjust them individually or sync them with all of your other Corsair components using their central iCUE software for a consistent, gently changing effect throughout your whole setup, including keyboards, mouse, and headsets.

We’re not going to lie: any component that manages to integrate geometric or three-dimensional elements into its design, regardless of where it sits in your PC, has a warm place in our hearts. That’s why, before we even opened the package, the ADATA XPG SPECTRIX D60G RGB jumped to the top of our list.

It has ten RGB LEDs in total, five on each side instead of the typical line across the top. It also covers approximately 60% of the surface area of the stick. You may not get the full benefit of this depending on the case and amount of sticks you’re using, but if it’s visible from the outside of your case, it’s well worth it.

Because each LED is addressable, you’ll be able to create a variety of interesting lighting effects, including changing illumination. Once they’re placed and lighted, the angular effects aren’t nearly as noticeable, but they’re still there and extremely interesting. The Trident Z Royal series from G.Skill is at a strange position right now. It has levels of power that are typically better suited to professional workplaces (though certain streamers may be able to appropriately utilize them), but it also has a degree of design that can only be characterized as “blinged out.”

The RGB strip is designed to appear like a crystalline structure, which G.Skill refers to as a “crown jewel design,” and it’s only available in silver and gold, making it look out of place in anything that isn’t a premium showcase build.

If you need a little more room, speed, or power, the HyperX Predator series has you covered, with speeds ranging from 2933MHz to 4600MHz. It offers single 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB memory sticks as well as packages of 2, 4, and 8 sticks (yes, including the 32GB). At the upper levels, be careful to double-check motherboard compatibility.

There’s good news if you thought G.Skill’s Trident Z Royal series was a little too showy but were (rightly) a fan of the performance and space. The Trident Z base series provides the same stats in a range that’s just as broad and well-built, but with a lot simpler design that’ll go in better with a wider variety of more traditional-looking designs.

The Trident Z base series, like the royal, has 8 RGB LEDs in the bar across the top that light through brilliantly. The metal heat spreaders have fins that extend over half of the bar, but because you’ll be seeing the RGB effect from above with a four-pack like this, it won’t make much of a difference in most installations. G.Skill’s software or third-party applications can handle all eight LEDs.

The appearance is mainly brushed black metal, although you can buy versions with a brushed silver plate covering half of the front for a bit extra style.

In this study, we focused on the 4x8GB bundle, which includes four 3600MHz DDR4 sticks. If you’re simply gaming, that’s a bit more RAM than you’ll need, but if you also stream and edit highlight reels or work as a creative professional, this is a perfect match for you.

The Trident Z portfolio includes everything from a simple 2x8GB pack all the way up to an 8x32GB, with every conceivable combination of 2, 4, and 8 packs as well as 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB available.

If you’re the kind that follows these lists compulsively in the hopes of one day finding a RAM module that looks like Quill’s spacecraft from Guardians of the Galaxy, the Milano, your life has been a never-ending sea of disappointment.

Until the time we presented you to the OLOy Warhawk, that is. Even if you’re not the one person in our audience, things look fantastic even before you turn on the RGB.

Each stick on the Warhawk features seven LEDs, one in the center and three on each wing. The wings (which also serve as radiators) contain windows for further RGB effects, and if you can obtain a side view, you can achieve an amazing floating look.

The LEDs closer to the center, on the other hand, are closer to the LED bar’s surface, resulting in hotspots. It’s completely compatible with all major RGB control software, so synchronizing it with the rest of your project won’t be a problem.

The Warhawk comes in three color schemes: red, black, and teal (technically known as blue), all with the same white accents.

OLOy is a younger company, and their Warhawk series does not have the same variety of kits as some other companies. Any official Silicon Power documents simply refer to the RGB element as a “band of color,” with no indication of how many LEDs or how they’re arranged. When you connect it in and turn it on, the number of hotspots is immediately apparent.
