Summary

The MasterBox Lite 3.1 is the ultimate affordable micro-atx tower, with excellent looks for just $40. Transparent panels on the front and sides allow you to show off your components within. The design utilized in this case is common in enthusiast-level cases, and it helps to maximize the inside space without causing any significant issues. It comes in three colors: black, black/white, and black/red, and it has an angled front panel that allows for greater space at the top and bottom for cool air intake. However, the case isn’t designed for extreme cooling, so don’t expect to put a lot of strain on your components if you utilize it.

The casing, on the other hand, is best suited for those looking for the finest aesthetics for a $300-$400 gaming setup. It has a bottom-mounted hard drive cage that doesn’t interfere with lengthy graphics cards or front-panel fans. It features a tempered glass side panel, which often raises the price of a chassis, but it is currently available at a reasonable price. This is one of the best micro-atx instances we’ve come across.

The Cooler Master H500P mesh white is finally available for purchase at Newegg.com. It has a unique design that allows for superior airflow and cooling performance, as well as the ability to keep your system running cool even when it’s overclocked.

The cooler master h500p mesh argb is finally available. It is the successor to the H500P and it has a new look and feel.

The Cooler Master H500P (original version) was the most touted case of 2017, yet it also turned out to be one of the worst. This is due to the fact that the case’s primary goal of increased airflow was not met. Following the backlash, Cooler Master updated their original model and debuted the mesh variant at CES 2018.

Instead of the plastic glass panel that was in the previous edition, this case now has a mesh front panel that allows for greater airflow, as it should. Not only that, but there have been many modifications to the casing, such as the front panel is no longer loose and will not fall out simply by moving it about.

The casing is now now available in White, which looks great and includes a perfectly adjusted side tempered glass panel. The inside of the box is also entirely white, with black rubber grommets large enough to conceal the wires. Cable management is particularly great in this instance, with covers that conceal the wires even if the second side panel isn’t installed.

It comes with two front-facing 200mm intake fans, which are designed to bring tremendous airflow in from the front to keep the chassis cool. Furthermore, Cooler Master designed it to accommodate up to 360mm radiators on both the top and front, ensuring that airflow is balanced, which is not often the case with mid-towers.

In terms of availability, the case will be available for presale in North America on February 27th for $149.99, and will subsequently be available globally soon after.

The cooler master h500p mesh review is a gaming computer case that is available at Newegg.com for $139.99.

Cooler Master has released a new line of high-end gaming cases, the Cosmos II. The C700P is one of these cases and is designed to house a custom water cooling loop. In this article we will compare both models and see which one comes out on top.

The cooler master cosmos c700p is a high-powered, fully modular power supply that offers superior performance and extreme reliability.

Good day, everyone!!! In 2017, we saw a massive transformation in the computer industry, beginning with graphics cards, moving on to processors, and finally to cases, which is fantastic for some individuals who have seen some significant changes in the PC sector. We will compare the Old Generation vs. New Generation, i.e. Cooler Master Cosmos II vs. Cosmos C700P by Cooler Master, in today’s debate.

Cooler Master’s Cosmos C700P is the most recent addition to the Cosmos Series, having been launched in September 2017. We have waited long enough since this case was announced for promotion at Computex 2017. It drew our attention not only because of its features and appearance, but also because we were curious to see whether this newest member of the Cosmos family resembled its family hierarchy in any way. So, without further ado, let’s get into the specifics of the new case and dissect the advantages and disadvantages of it and its predecessors.

Cooler Master Cosmos C700P

Price on Amazon.com

The Cosmos series was published a long time ago. Cooler Master just launched their 25th-anniversary edition, which is a reimagined model of the old hierarchy Cosmos II, which is a complete failure since it is the same Cosmos II with colored curved temper glass. Cooler Master, on the other hand, has introduced the Cosmos C700P to its new Cosmos series.

Side View

It has a classic appearance and feel, but it also includes the 2017 trend of subtle LED components, tinted dual curved temper glass, and a fully configurable design with an inverted motherboard configuration option and improved IO Ports with the addition of a Type C connection. The new Cosmos C700P has adequate space for the most powerful XL-ATX motherboards and is made of a mix of plastic and aluminum.

Panel on the front

The CM C700P, like its predecessor, keeps the classic handlebars with minor changes in the top and bottom, which creates a strong first impression since they are perfectly integrated with the case’s curves. There are two panels on the sides, one of which is dual curved tinted temper glass and the other is a plain side panel, but both are curved to match the casing. The front panel features a power button, a reset button, a fan controller, and LED lighting customisation, which includes the ability to control the LEDs through the motherboard.

Aside from that, there are 4 USB 3 ports, a generation 2 USB type C port, and an Audio & MIC jack on the IO. Whereas the last version had 4 USB 2 ports and 2 USB 3 ports, the Power button was concealed along with other buttons, which was a neat feature to see.

Cooler Master C700P vs Cosmos II front panels

Mechanism of the Panel on the Sides

The side panel is made up of a dual curved tempered glass panel and a matte finished aluminium panel that swivels sideways at a 90-degree rearward angle, which is the exact opposite of its predecessors. Unlike its predecessor, which slid down to expose the drives, the front has a bracket that when removed reveals the front detachable dust bracket. Removing the bracket reveals the twin 140mm fan bracket, which can accommodate a radiator up to 340mm with ease, something that the cosmos II and triple 140mm fans did not have.

Cooler Master C700P vs Cosmos II side panel

Compatibility

On top of that, both generations can handle radiators up to 340mm in diameter, as well as dust filters. The only difference between the two is that the C700P has a nice LED effect on the top part, which makes it even better since it also lights the handlebars. The rear panels of both cases are almost identical, with a few minor changes such as the new chassis having eight PCI expansion slots rather than the ten seen in its predecessors. The PSU mounting bracket is also unique, with a raised platform that lacks the rubberized surface of previous generations. The bottom of both generations is identical, with the exception of a slight upgrade in the new casing.

Cooler Master C700P vs Cosmos II compatibility

Now it’s time to talk about the inside, with the goal of identifying a distinction between the two generations. The inside of the Cosmos II extreme is filled by an optical drive bay, two hot-swappable 2.5′′ drive bays, and five 3.5/2.5” HDD bays. There is also a fan bracket at the bottom that, when opened, exposes six 3.5/2.5” drive bays.

To summarize, the old Cosmos II has a total of 11+2 hot swappable i.e. 13nos of HDD storage capacity, whereas the new one has up to 2nos of 3.5”. You can increase the capacity by purchasing new ones as it is a case of modular approach, but it doesn’t make sense because the case is quite expensive and the separate accessories are also quite expensive.

Furthermore, there are three 2.5” drive bays in total, one in the front and two in the rear, one of which is already filled with LED and Fan controller. This has a significant effect on the C700P’s storage options. Another thing to note is that there is a metal plate that is linked to the PSU and may be used to conceal the drive bays. However, the metal on that plate and the PSU shroud is readily stained by figure print.

Furthermore, the PSU shroud is not connected to the rear part, making it a little wired since it wobbles easily. Both cases can accept full ATX or EATX boards, however the C700P has some additional features, such as the ability to flip the motherboard tray using the included guide, despite the guide’s inability to give a clear image of the process. The next generation casing also lacks the hot-swappable drive functionality.

Conclusion

Unlike its previous gen cases, which are relatively less beautiful, the new Cosmos C700P is a highly robust and very appealing looking case with all of the absolutely superior exterior mix of color. Though, for $300, this case provides a little less. More drive cages, as well as the LED and Fan hub being located separately, would be a nice choice, and the power shroud should be connected to the case itself to eliminate the wobbling problem when the side panel is removed.

In this premium category case, the supplied fans seem to be of poor quality. This case is geared at PC enthusiasts and the modding community. Due to the above circumstances, the case seems unfinished, but in terms of Appearance, it closely resembles the previous Cosmos. It’s true that it’s the most recent Cosmos product, but there should be more to it.

The cooler master elite 130 build is one of the best air coolers for gaming. It has a small form factor that can fit in most cases and it is affordable.

The GPU is one of the most important components in your gaming PC, but it can also be one of the most frustrating. Here are six easy steps to keep your card cool and running at peak performance.

The underclock gpu to reduce heat is a guide on how to cool down your graphics card in 6 easy steps.

Your graphics card seems to be competing with the scorching lava, and you’re afraid it’ll die soon?

Don’t be alarmed! I’ve put up a quick tutorial to help you cool your graphics card from top to bottom and prevent overheating. You don’t need to be concerned if you’ve never handled your graphics card before and are concerned that anything may go wrong. It’s not as tough as it may seem, but believe me, you’ll be able to repair your overheating GPU in a matter of minutes. If you don’t, continue reading to the end to guarantee your graphics card never overheats.

Overheating may be caused by a variety of factors.

Keep in mind that overheating may be caused by a combination of factors, and a hot GPU can result from a combination of factors. The following are some of the most common reasons of graphics card overheating:

  1. Inadequate ventilation in the chassis
  2. Inadequate cooling provided by the fans
  3. Graphics card that is filthy
  4. Extremely high voltage
  5. Thermal paste that has dried out

We’ll address each problem one by one in order to remove any potential causes of overheating.

Inadequate Airflow in the Chassis

The simplest way to prevent overheating is to provide enough cooling for your computer cabinet. It may be done in a variety of ways. If feasible, ensure that your chassis has enough airflow from the front, rear, and top. Some cases lack front ventilation, making it difficult for sufficient amounts of cold air to enter.

If your case has a front panel with no ventilation, you should remove it to enable circulation and install a dust filter to keep the dust at bay. If you don’t have access to a dust filter, it’s best to keep the front panel in place to prevent dust, since dust can cause overheating if your PC hardware collects a lot of it.

computer ventilation

If your case has fans on the front, back, and top, make sure you put at least one fan in each location, and several fans in the front panel if possible. This will result in a large amount of cold air coming in from the outside. The heated air within will be evacuated by the back and top fans, lowering the temperature of each component.

Because the graphics card generates heat and has to be cooled, not having an exhaust fan in your case will almost certainly result in GPU overheating.

Fan cooling is insufficient.

Fan curve

It’s possible that the sluggish speed of your fan is causing your graphics card to run hotter. The GPU fans operate at a certain pre-adjusted speed based on the temperature, which may or may not be sufficient to cool down the PCB. MSI Afterburner allows you to boost the fan speed and create a custom fan curve that allows your GPU to automatically alter its fan speed in response to temperature changes.

If your issue isn’t too severe, this may be enough to solve it, but don’t forget to apply the prior step, which is appropriate airflow control in the chassis.

Graphics card that is filthy

graphics card heatsink

No matter how effective a cooling system you offer, a filthy PC will always overheat. When dust gets between two contacting surfaces or inside the heatsink, it reduces heat dissipation in the air, as well as making the fan inefficient. The quantity of dust that accumulates is determined by where you reside. If there is a lot of dust in your region, you will need to clean your graphics card on a regular basis. Cleaning it every 3-4 months is suggested, and the best method is to use an air blower or compressed air first, followed by brush cleaning.

a very high voltage

1629671705_432_Cool-down-your-hot-graphics-card-in-6-easy-steps

It’s an uncommon occurrence, but the voltage provided to your graphics card may be greater than usual. High voltages may quickly overheat PC components in a matter of minutes if a suitable cooling solution is not supplied for a variety of reasons. It’s also conceivable that, despite receiving the appropriate voltage supply, your graphics card is unable to cool itself under full load.

Reduce the voltage progressively using MSI Afterburner until you reach a steady level where there is no longer any overheating. You should always attempt stress testing for at least half an hour, and here’s how to do that using our GPU stress testing tutorial. You may also use these GPU-benchmarking applications to test your graphics card, since they are as good as any visually demanding game.

Thermal paste that has dried out

thermal paste vector

It’s also conceivable that everything is OK except for something you can’t notice right away. If you’ve been gaming for a long time and have lately experienced overheating, it may be due to dry thermal paste on your GPU chip. To get to the GPU chip, you’ll have to dismantle your graphics card. It will function similarly to your motherboard’s main CPU, requiring thermal paste to make complete contact with the heatsink for cooling.

To apply the fresh paste, first remove the old paste using Isopropyl Alcohol from both the chip and the heatsink base. For optimum results, use Arctic MX 4 or Cooler Master high-performance thermal paste. Apply a pea-sized amount of thermal paste on the heatsink and gently put it back on it with the proper alignment.

Remember to reconnect the fan cord and all of the screws as you did previously.

Change the heatsink if necessary.

ARCTIC Accelero Xtreme IV

This is the last option for dealing with a noisy graphics card, which I also suggest. NZXT, Arctic, and Corsair all make some excellent custom GPU heatsinks. You should double-check that your graphics card is compatible with the custom cooler you’re planning to use, which you can do easily by visiting the manufacturer’s website.

Two days ago, NVIDIA launched their new SLI bridge. This is a hardware component that connects two or more graphics cards together on the same motherboard. The purpose of this is to allow for better graphics performance in games by having multiple GPUs working at once. However, not all motherboards have the necessary slots available to accommodate these bridges.

The geforce rtx logo not lighting up is a problem that has been present for a while. Colorful recently released their new SLI bridge which fixes the issue.

I never considered that a SLI bridge might join the market in the same way as any other component. Although it seems unlikely, Colorful has decided to begin manufacturing their new SLI bridge, the iGame SLI HB Bridge, in order to give your setups a more visually pleasing appearance. Some may consider it a dumb or stupid action, but you never know when the world may catch on to a ridiculous fad and everyone will follow suit. Not that this will definitely move in the right way, but we now have something completely fresh on the market.

SLI bridges are used to combine the power of several graphics cards in order to improve gaming performance. Nvidia used to equip graphics cards with capabilities that allowed them to work with up to four other graphics cards, but with the GTX 1000 series, it ceased doing so, restricting compatibility to just two. So, if you want to connect three or four GTX 1080s, you won’t be able to do so since the GTX 1080 only allows two-way configuration. As a result, Colorful has built the SLI bridge to accommodate 2-slot, 3-slot, and 4-slot spacing choices and has made the new bridge compatible with 2-way configuration.

The bridge’s concept is similar to what we see in video games, and I’m not sure how to explain how it appears, despite the lack of prominent branding. The colors are black with red accents, and the bridge has a key-like shape similar to that seen in DOOM 2016. The availability and price of this bridge have yet to be disclosed, however it will be interesting to see whether people utilize it or not, since most people do not use SLI at all.

The how to control gpu rgb is a new SLI bridge from Colorful. It allows users to control their RGB lighting on their graphics cards with a single cable.

With the release of new GPUs, there are now more powerful graphics cards than ever before. However, not all games can run at 60 FPS on these high-end cards. This article will discuss which cards are best for gaming in 1080p, 1440p and 4K resolution settings.

The best graphics card for 4k gaming is a question that many people have been asking. There are many different factors to consider when choosing the best graphics card, such as resolution and framerate.

Introduction

On 1080p or greater resolutions, not every graphics card can provide 60 frames per second. There are graphics cards that are underpowered yet nevertheless offer acceptable framerates with certain graphical concessions, allowing you to save money. The problem is, most gamers across the globe consider 60 frames per second to be the sweet spot, therefore they save a significant amount of money before purchasing their preferred PC component.

When I say 60 frames per second in gaming, I mean 60 frames per second on high settings with minimal to no visual degradation. The answer is no if you claim that a GTX 1050 Ti will suffice. Even while many games, such as CSGO, Overwatch, Rocket League, Tomb Raider, and others, can easily run at more than 60 frames per second at 1080p extreme settings, others, such as Witcher 3, Assassins Creed Origins, Battlefield V, Far Scream 3, and others, will make your graphics card cry.

So, in this list, I’ll only include GPUs that can run three resolutions at 60+ frames per second on extreme settings without breaking a sweat. These three resolutions (1080p, 1440p, and 4K) are the most commonly utilized, so you won’t have any problems gaming on them if you purchase one of the graphics cards mentioned.

Radeon RX 590 MSI Gaming

Price on Amazon.com

MSI Gaming Radeon Rx 590

The RX 500 series from AMD is still going strong. The RX 580, which was its predecessor, could play most games at 1080p 60 fps, but the RX 590 goes a step further and outperforms even the most powerful mid-end cards for just $200, making it the greatest value 1080p card on the market right now. Instead of investing over $250 on the GTX 1660, I suggest this one, which is a direct competitor at a much cheaper price.

The RX 590 has 8GB of GDDR5 RAM and 2304 Stream Processors, making it a beast for graphically demanding games and allowing them to run at 60+ frames per second most of the time. This card may not be as well-known as the RTX series GPUs, but that doesn’t matter since no other card can provide so much value for $200 and let you create a strong RIG that will last at least 2-3 years. If you pair it with an i3 9100F or i5 9400F processor, your PC will be constructed for around $700.

MSI Gaming X 6G GTX 1660 Ti

MSI Gaming GTX 1660 Ti Gaming X 6G

The GTX 1660 Ti, which is built on the Turing architecture but isn’t capable of Ray Tracing in games, is another excellent 1080p GPU that is really the no-compromise card for extreme settings. This Nvidia beast has 6GB of RAM, which is less than the RX 590, but it boasts GDDR6 memory, which is approximately 4Gbps quicker than the RX 590’s GDDR5.

The MSI Gaming X 6G version has a boost clock of 1875MHz and may be overclocked even higher using MSI afterburner. The RGB lighting on the shroud that covers the hefty aluminum heatsink with copper heat pipes for better heat dissipation adds to the card’s beauty.

If you pair this card with an i5 9400F or a Ryzen 5 3600, you’ll be able to play at 60+ frames per second at 1080p, and many games will comfortably run at 1440p with all settings maxed up. The gap in performance between the GTX 1660 Ti and the RX 590 is approximately 10%, but it may reach 20% in certain games.

GIGABYTE RTX 2060 SUPER WINDFORCE OC 8G

The RTX 2060 Super is our first suggestion for 1440p gaming since it’s not a good idea to purchase it only for 1080p unless you want to play games like CSGO, Overwatch, PUBG, and other titles with 144+ frames per second. The RTX 2060 Super is the successor of the RTX 2060, which is around 10% slower but has the same Turing architecture. This card can really utilize Ray Tracing technology, which is currently only available in a select games.

So, if you totally disregard it, it won’t make a difference. This card contains 8GB of GDDR6 RAM instead of the original RTX 2060’s 6GB, allowing it to max out the graphical settings even better on higher resolutions than the RTX 2060. Many games run at 100+ frames per second with this GPU, however some demanding games run at less than that even at the maximum settings. For $400, this card is an excellent option to pair with a Ryzen 5 3600 or i5 9600K processor for optimum performance for the least amount of money. The video below demonstrates how strong this card is.

ZOTAC GAMING RTX 2070 SUPER Twin Fan

The RTX 2070 Super follows a similar path as the RTX 2060 Super. Nvidia introduced the RTX 2070 Super, which has improved specifications over the RTX 2070, making it a no-compromise 1440p card that will survive at least three years at this resolution when played at the maximum settings.

The RTX 2070 Super has 8GB of GDDR6 memory that operates at 14Gbps, which is faster than the GTX 1660 Ti’s memory. The new RTX 2070 features more RTX OPS, Cuda Cores, and base/boost clock speeds than the previous RTX 2070. This speeds things up by around 5% in most instances, but this may vary depending on the game. The most significant factor here is price.

The RTX 2070 used to cost $500, and Nvidia kept the pricing the same for the RTX 2070 Super to compete with AMD Navi graphics cards, which experienced a substantial price reduction following AMD’s original introduction. For 1440p, the RTX 2070 Super is presently the fastest option, and it should be paired with an i7 9700K for optimal performance.

Radeon RX 5700 MSI Gaming

Price on Amazon.com

MSI Gaming Radeon RX 5700

AMD’s Navi RX 5700 card is a game-changer, competing with the RTX 2060 Super in certain games and losing in others. As a result, it’s a strong rival to the RTX 2060 Super at 1440p resolution, and it can certainly provide greater over 60 frames per second. The major difference is in price, which makes the RX 5700 a much better option. The RX 5700 costs just $350, whereas the RTX 2060 Super costs about $400.

Right now, the issue is a lack of AIB cards from various manufacturers, and if there are any, they cost almost $400 or more. So, if you want to get the most bang for your buck, go with the blower-style card. The RX 5700 has 8GB of GDDR6 memory with a boost speed of up to 1725MHz. When compared to earlier AMD cards, which used to use more than 200 or 300 watts and produce a lot of heat, this one is also more power-efficient.

Its TDP is just 180 watts, and AMD recommends a stable power supply of 600 watts. If you don’t mind using a blower-style card, I think the RX 5700 is superior than the RTX 2060 in terms of 1440 game performance.

ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 2080 Super

The RTX 2080 Super isn’t the greatest 4K 60 fps card, but it’s close. The majority of games will run in 4K with over 60 frames per second, but not all of them will. Some will remain in the 50-60 range, which is acceptable given the RTX 2080 Super’s pricing. It’s approximately 5% quicker than the original RTX 2080, and the best part is that Nvidia priced it at the same level as the RTX 2080. The RTX 2080 Super has an 8GB GDDR6 RAM and a 63 T RTX OPS.

It also has a memory speed of 15.5 Gbps, which is quicker than most RTX cards. The Asus Strix version, which has a boost clock of 1890MHz, is the most overclocked RTX 2080 Super available today, and will perform better than any other RTX 2080 Super card, allowing you to achieve closer to 60 frames per second in hardcore graphics demanding games like Assassins Creed Odyssey. This is the cheapest 4K TV you can buy for $800.

GIGABYTE RTX 2080 Ti Gaming OC

The RTX 2080 Ti is for people who don’t want to make any compromises in 4K gaming and don’t mind paying as much as they want. The RTX 2080 Ti has 11GB of GDDR6 memory with a 616GB/s memory interface, 4352 Cuda Cores, and a 352-bit memory interface width. This is an incredible beast in any game, and it will obliterate anything at the highest graphical settings.

It’s around 10% quicker than the RTX 2080 Super, but it’s also a lot more costly when you evaluate the price to performance ratio. If the RTX 2080 Super is about $700-$800, you’d assume this would be around $1000 at most. But unfortunately, it costs a staggering $1200 or more, making it an insane choice for gaming, but we don’t have any other AMD options.

If you don’t mind paying over $1200 and don’t want to see your 4K fps drop below 60, then this is the one for you. Just keep in mind that you’ll need a processor like the i9 9900K to get the most out of it.

The 4k gaming graphics card is the best option for gamers who want to experience 60 FPS in 1080p, 1440p and 4K resolutions.

The PC is a complicated machine, with many different components and settings that can be confusing for newbies. Here are the most common mistakes newbies make when building their PCs.

The things not to forget when building a pc is made up of 24 common mistakes that newbies make. It’s important to know what these are, so you don’t make them yourself.

Building a gaming computer is tough for any beginner, particularly if he has no experience with components. Even if a person understands a lot about components but hasn’t constructed one himself, I consider him to be a beginner. The real deal is putting the pieces together in a case. There isn’t a single person on the world who hasn’t made a mistake in that process, and even the professionals make errors now and again.

I’ve built a lot of computers for myself and my friends, so I’ve made a lot of errors and learned a lot. So I compiled a list of nearly every error a novice might make throughout the assembly process. If you’re new to PC construction and don’t want to make any mistakes, this list will come in handy.

1. The force required to shut the CPU socket arm

This is the first stage, when you insert the CPU into the socket and seal it tightly enough with the latch arm. You’ll need a lot of effort to get it to lock after you’re done. You should not continue at first since it seems that it will break. Don’t be concerned; just move on.

2. Instead of using the graphics card’s output connector, connect the monitor to the motherboard’s display output.

This is ridiculous, and I did it myself when I first bought a computer with a graphics card. Because there was no signal on the display, I connected the VGA cable connection into the motherboard instead of the graphics card and restarted multiple times. I ended up with windows that were corrupted. This is a very frequent blunder, and many individuals make it for the first time.

3. Using a knife to scrape out the old thermal paste from the CPU

It’s best to reapply thermal paste once it dries or when you install a new CPU cooler. However, a dry towel or even water will not be able to remove the old thermal paste. As a result, some individuals scrape it off the cpu using a blade or knife. Don’t do that; your CPU will be scratched, and you’ll wind up with incorrect contact with the CPU cooling. Instead, use kerosene oil. It will simply scrape off.

4. Don’t touch your PC’s components while it’s turned on.

If you touch your PC components with your fingers or a screwdriver, it may be a big issue since even a little shaking might cause your PC to freeze. If you contact the circuitry on your motherboard or graphics card PCB, it may cause a short circuit.

Don't touch pcb

5. Understand the distinctions between Micro-Atx and Mini-ITX, since they are quite similar.

Micro ATX and Mini ITX motherboards are both supported by Micro ATX cases. A Mini ITX motherboard, on the other hand, will only support a Mini ITX motherboard. However, there are many tiny itx and micro atx cases that appear similar. Thermaltake Core V21 and Thermaltake Core V1 are two excellent examples, as seen in the picture below. Both seem to be quite comparable, however if you purchased the Core V1 with the intention of installing a Micro ATX case, you will be disappointed. Before you purchase one, do some research on what components you’ll need to put in it.

mini itx vs micro atx case

6. Check to see whether the CPU cooler will fit in the case.

Many Mini ITX and Mini Tower enclosures do not support large heatsinks. If you have a decent mid tower, there’s a slim chance you won’t be able to install a CPU cooler like the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO. Big coolers, such as the Noctua DH-15, will need a complete tower or a very broad case.

Before purchasing a cooler, double-check the size of the cooler you intend to use and the dimensions of the case. For more information, check customer reviews, ask the community, or watch YouTube videos.

7. MANAGEMENT OF CABLES IS ESSENTIAL! It simplifies the process of updating and cleaning.

Making your system function isn’t something you have to do. However, have a look at the picture below. Is it okay to have such a sloppy build?

To keep your setup looking tidy, run your wires through the various openings in your case and knot the leftovers together. It also prevents your wires from entering the CPU or GPU cooler. The second major benefit of cable management is that it facilitates upgrades. In the instance below, installing a RAM stick or a hard drive is difficult.

bad cable management

8. The most aggravating aspect… Don’t overlook the I/O plate.

This is a frequent blunder. The second time I built a computer, I neglected to install the I/O plate. I’m not sure whether I’ll ever forget it, but I do remember it now. It’s critical if you don’t want any insects or rats to enter your structure. That is a problem I have encountered, and it is fatal to your components.

So, the first thing you should do when you get your case is install the I/O plate.

Insert IO plate first

9. To get ethernet to function, use the driver CD that came with your motherboard.

After you’ve put your computer together, one of the first things you should do is go online and install some software. However, you won’t be able to connect to the internet since your system lacks an ethernet driver. As a result, never throw away your motherboard driver disk. It’s the most crucial step after installing your operating system and the only method to get your internet to function.

Most modern motherboards come pre-installed with certain drivers, including an internet driver.

10. Purchasing low-cost, off-brand power supplies

A 350-watt power supply from EVGA or Cooler Master is much superior than a 450-watt power supply from Zebronics. PSUs should only be purchased from reputable and well-known manufacturers. Spending a lot of money on components and just $15 on a power supply is a recipe for disaster. Even though I only need 400 watts in total, I use an Antec edge series 80+ GOLD 750W PSU.

If you don’t want to harm your costly system, think of a PSU the same way you think of a graphics card. The following is a list of the best power supply for your project.

Zebronic psu

11. Failure to turn on the power supply

You carefully put everything together and repeatedly pressed the power button on your case. However, there is no boot. Why? It’s possible that you neglected to turn on the power button on the back of your power supply. It’s a really frequent and stupid error to make, and there’s a good chance you’ll make it for the first time. So double-check everything before moving on.

PSU On Off Switch

12. Do not touch the pins on the CPU socket.

Can you spot the pins on the CPU socket below? It’s my friend’s motherboard, which hadn’t been used in over a year and was twisted by accident. I’m not sure how, but it’s deadly. It took me two days to find out why his computer wouldn’t start up. I tried the front panel power connectors, the motherboard’s 24 pin power port, and the power supply several times with no success. However, I failed to inspect the CPU socket.

I attempted to repair it when I discovered it, but it only lasted 2-3 days. It was almost difficult for me to make some of the pins line like the others since they were so badly bent.

Be careful, this may be deadly. When installing your CPU, put it carefully on the socket and do not move it to ensure correct alignment. If the pins on your motherboard bend, you’ll have to purchase a new one.

13. CONNECTORS FOR THE FRONT PANEL! Read the instruction booklet that came with your motherboard or case!

That is correct, and it is correct for every PC manufacturer. You can simply determine the power ports on your CPU and motherboard. But this is without a doubt the most difficult aspect. Some motherboards don’t come with clear instructions in the documentation, and the PCB is incorrectly labeled. As a result, you’ve plugged them in incorrectly. To gain a better understanding of the idea, see my tutorial on building a PC from the ground up.

Front panel connectors

14. Making sure the RAM sticks are correctly inserted

You may not be able to get your machine to boot. One of the causes may be incorrect ram stick installation. Your computer will not display anything if your ram stick is not correctly installed. Before placing your motherboard into the casing, make sure you’ve installed your RAM.

When you place the modules in the slots, make sure you hear clicks from both sides and that the latches shut automatically. Even if it does, use additional pressure to insert it farther. This will guarantee Ram’s correct operation.

insert ram stick properly

15. Not doing enough study on PC cases

The more cases I purchase, the more information I get. I’ve tried extremely low-cost cases as well as some excellent high-end cases. Each has its unique method for putting the components and wires together. I’m still not perfect and won’t be for a long time since there are so many kinds to choose from that it will take time to try them all.

The complexity level rises as you go from basic component installation to acrylic bespoke water cooling. You’ll need cases with various characteristics for each method. Before purchasing a case, do your homework. Always create a list of the components you want to install and plan to add in the future to ensure you get the best scenario possible. To get the work done quicker, read this post on selecting the optimal case for your build.

16. Don’t get the 8 pin cpu power connection mixed up with the 8 pin gpu power connector.

8 pin power cpu port is found on good motherboards with overclocking capabilities. The difference between a 4+4 pin cpu power connection and a 6+2 pin gpu power connector is easily misunderstood. It’s possible that you accidentally plugged the gpu power connections into your cpu port, however this will not work. Always be aware of the differences and study the instructions for the power supply.

8pin cpu or gpu

17. Using a CPU and motherboard that aren’t compatible

Complete newcomers are unaware of the compatibility. They may believe that an AMD CPU should be used with an Intel motherboard, or vice versa. Intel processors must be used with an Intel motherboard, while AMD processors must be used with an AMD motherboard. But this is just the beginning. You must also utilize a CPU that is compatible with the motherboard. For example, an Intel core i3 2120 cannot be used on a Lga 1150 motherboard such as the MSI h81M.

If you’re still unsure, see my guide to learn about the compatibility of each CPU and motherboard.

18. Using a motherboard and memory that aren’t compatible

By “using a DDR2 with a DDR3 Ram suitable motherboard,” I don’t only mean using a DDR2 with a DDR3 Ram compatible motherboard, but also utilizing a mismatched frequency ram on a motherboard that doesn’t support it. If you’re buying two ram sticks, be sure they have the same frequency. You may mix and match brands, but if you use two rams with different frequencies, the higher clocked ram will downclock to match the frequency of the other. As a result, it’s a waste of money.

Also, verify sure your motherboard supports the frequency of the RAM before purchasing it. Using a 3000Mhz clocked RAM on a motherboard that only supports 2133Mhz will result in the RAM being downclocked.

19. Using the incorrect screws for various components

I have four various kinds of screws in my hand, as you can see in the picture below. Each of them is designed for a certain component. You can’t use them interchangeably since you’ll end up with over-tightened screws or loosely held screws. Make sure you go through my instructions to figure out which screw goes with which component.

PC screws

20. Installing components in the incorrect order

Each case has its own set of characteristics, and the components must be installed using various methods. The method of building components in a mini-ITX case differs from that of a full tower case. However, the majority of the instances follow a similar pattern.

  1. Place the motherboard in place (With processor, heatsink and ram pre-installed)
  2. Set up the power supply
  3. Hard drives/SSDs should be installed.
  4. Set up a graphics card
  5. Do some cable management and wiring.

This is the most typical sequence, however depending on the complexity of your situation, you may want to move some of them to a different order. But don’t just go with the flow or you’ll end up with a mess.

21. And don’t forget about the standoffs. That’s a catastrophic blunder.

Standoffswikimedia.org is the source of this image.

Yes, that’s a catastrophic mistake. Some cases come with pre-installed standoffs. Some don’t, while others have just a few. So you need to install the standoffs first by counting how many screw holes your motherboard has. Because the pcb of your motherboard will be in direct touch with the metal of your case if you install it without stanfoffs, there is a 100% probability that it will get shorted. Always keep this in mind.

22. Remember to remove the plastic film from the contact metal plate before installing a new CPU cooler.

Cpu cooler plastic peel hardwareslave.com is the source of this information.

This one is ridiculous. When a novice receives a custom cpu cooler for the first time, he may believe that the plastic film is for protection and that it looks nice, therefore he may not remove it. Even while running basic programs, your plastic will melt, and you will notice heat throttling and a lot of stuttering. Always remove it and use Kerosene or acetone to clean the metal plate. The cooler is now ready to be installed.

23. Avoid using too much thermal paste.

Apply thermal paste

When I put a custom cooler in my previous build a few months back, I used thermal paste twice the size of a pea, which caused an overflow that ran down around the socket as well. Because I didn’t want it to go into the socket, I had to clean it carefully. As a result, just use a little amount of thermal paste.

Don’t use a credit card to distribute it; the cooler will do it automatically when you put it over the CPU. Its only purpose is to bridge the distance between the two contacts.

24. Overpaying for a factory overclocked graphics card for a little performance gain

This one isn’t part of the assembly process, but it’s still a good point to make. Different brands of graphics cards will always have a significant pricing differential. Some manufacturers, such as Asus and MSI, charge $20-$40 more for their graphics cards than the competition, despite the fact that the difference is insignificant.

When you’re on a limited budget, look for the less expensive alternatives. EVGA, Zotac, or Gainward offer much lower costs while still performing well.

So that’s all for the list. I hope you took something away from this.

If you have any ideas or things that I missed, please let me know in the comments section below and I will gladly include them in the list.

Chrono Trigger is a game that has been around since the 1990s, and it is still one of the most popular games on Steam. However, there are some issues with this classic RPG that have caused problems for players, such as the inability to save during battle or the lack of voice acting in certain places. These issues will be addressed by upcoming updates from Square Enix.

Chrono Trigger is a game that was released in 1995. It has been brought up to date with the latest updates and fixes for its issues.

When we initially wrote about the game Chrono Trigger shortly after its official release, it was full of problems and glitches as a consequence of transferring the game straight from the mobile version to the PC, and it caused a lot of backlash among fans. Though the developers were already responding to the fans, Square Enix has promised a series of updates for Chrono Trigger’s Steam release. Only one modification has been brought to light thus far.

According to Square Enix’s announcement on Steam, the first patch will arrive early this month, allowing players to switch between the current graphics and the original Super NES style. The sprite smoothing filter, which was used to give the 16-bit RPG a higher-resolution look, was one of the top complaints raised by fans. The user interface, which was based on the touch-screen mobile version, was not included in the forthcoming patch, which was another major criticism.

The developers have been working to address the issues raised by community fans, and will be releasing a number of patches in the coming months, as well as continuing to support Chrono Trigger on Steam. Additionally, Square Enix has extended the availability of the Limited Edition until 9 a.m. PT on April 30, so that it will still be available after at least one of the patches has been released. The limited edition contains a variety of downloadable material, including music, digital liner notes, and six wallpapers, as well as the Dimension Vortex and Lost Sanctum dungeons from the DS version, as well as keyboard and gamepad control choices and an auto-save feature. So hope is not yet gone, and we can safely predict that things will heat up in the next months.
