Is it still worth it to play Watch Dogs 2 in 2020, given the arrival of Watch Dogs: Legion later this year? Not long ago, many individuals all around the globe were able to get their hands on a free copy of Watch Dogs 2. Owing to the fact that E3 has been canceled due to the present situation, game developers and publishers have turned to internet broadcasting to promote their new titles. When it came to hacking controls, they were precisely what I had hoped for. When the game is intended to appeal to a broad market of players with different play styles and skill levels, it would be stupid to make the hacking controls too complicated.
The primary protagonist, Aiden Pierce, was my major gripe with the original Watch Dogs. You’d assume that in a game about hacking, you’d take control of a hacker. Instead, you’ll meet a vigilante out on vengeance. Aiden Pierce is, to be honest, a hacker, but not to the degree that you would anticipate, given that he employs hacking tools created by others. Aiden isn’t even a member of DedSec, the Watch Dogs universe’s most well-known hacking organization. Aiden is particularly skilled at wreaking devastation and murder on the city of Chicago.
Unlocking power-ups and tools was another problem I experienced with the original game. While I liked how exploring the wide environment might offer a variety of prizes, I was able to get many of the more powerful tools early on, making many of the game’s major objectives easy.
In 2018, Watch Dogs 2 released for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. PC players were able to enjoy the game at a 4K resolution along with an unlocked frame-rate, which means players can hack and frag with ease and more like the original game.
